Suman's Review On Indian Institute Of Public Health - [IIPH], Gandhinagar

It's a 2 year course.No entrance exam conducted for the admission of this course in our college.Admission process is based in purely merit.Before admission candidates have to appear in the personal interview and group discussion round.Graduation is the eligibility criteria for the students.

MHA programme offered by the IIPHG is a two year full time programme.This programme is designed to develop professionally trained adminstrative who can play an effective managerial role and provide leadership in public/ private hospitals and healthcare institutions.Our course is very hectic and syllabus includes practical and theory both papers.

Internships are aimed at building capacities of government medical officer, student and faculty members for a college in future.During the time of Internship we are getting much experience as we have to work with our senior doctors.They taught us many things about the work culture in a hospital.How to visit a patient, prescribe medicines everything.We get lifetime experience as well as stipend of 15 k per month.

Every Wednesday our college conducted a seminar for all the students.It is compulsory for every student to take participate in seminar and workshop as well.Participating paper in the seminars we can overcome our fear from the crowd and develop our personality.Also, for this seminar we get a chance to show our skills.I am very grateful to this college as I overcome my introvert nature studying here.There are also so many other events for every Students.

Our college library is very huge.Itvis fully air conditioned.Visiting there after class and spent some time amidst of books gives me much relaxation.I often borrow books from the library and we can kept it with us for 15 days.After that, if the book has not demand by other students then again we can renew it.At any point of time,if the book is torned, damaged then we are charged fine.In the library there are also newspaper, magazines etc.

Hostel life is awesome.In my first year, I share double bedded rooms.But in last year, Students with good results are provided with single bedded rooms.My result was good and among toppers so I get some single bedded room.There is a chair and study table in the room along with an Almirah.And of course the bed.In every hostel room there is wifi internet connectivity.Mess food is simple and healthy for me.Both veg and non veg available.
