Remarks

I am selected to the HS result base merit list in the selected course. The application form find on the college website. the application fee is 4685. I am selected through the OBC category. No improvement needed in our college admission procedure.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested in my subjects so I selected this course. Two times exams occur in one semester. The faculties are excellent. The class teacher conducted a class test. Questions are difficult in the exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure- Tuition fees, Laboratory fees, Electric fees Library fees, and also attached the faculty development fees. Yes, I get an SVMCM scholarship. No placement in our college. But good study faculty here.

Campus Life

Yes, an annual fest occurs. The name of the annual fest is so pretty and meaningful, its name is Zoo Waggle. It was conducted in June. Many sports event occurs like as cricket tournament, football tournament, kabaddi tournament, and others

Placement Experience:

College does provide internship opportunities both through the placement cell as well as department faculty. Semester 5 and Semester 7 students are eligible for placements. Average package is about 5.5 lakh per annum for microbiology course. Although placement percentage is on the lower side majority of students go for higher studies. Many prepare for exams like GATE, IIT JAM, etc.

Placement Experience:

college placements are good in this college with a number of good financial and consultancy firms coming in with new gen companies as well in the service and sales industry. moreoever getting a good placement in a top financial or consultancy placement requires a POR in a good society as a criteria, its not really required but adds to your chances of getting it. moreover you require to participate in a number of case study competitions for the same as well. my plans after graduation is probably working for a year or two after which i plan on doing my MBA. around 50-60% who apply get a placement.

My experience at St. Xavier's

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course theory helps us gain a solid understanding of the subject matter. Film studies and Mass Communication theory classes has laid down the foundation of the subject- from what is a shot and the kinds of shots and angles, to the beginning of radio in India and essays by CS Pierce and John Berger. The course also includes practical classes in the sound labs, editing labs and we will learn to use a camera, as one of the things we will have to do in this course is make films of our own.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a very active placement cell that fetches jobs for everyone who needs and deserve it. The highest package was 24 lacs per annum last year and it is only expected to go up this round almost all students to set for placements are placed but in my department specifically most opt for higher studies like myself.

The college offers good placements for economis. Students in their final year are eligible for campus placements and there is a cell dedicated to placements. Placement Experience:

We have a placement cell helping students get placed. They keep posting opportunities like internships and fellowships throughout the year to groom students and give them exposure and experience. Placements can go to very high packages like those in Data Science, Big 4 consulting or core finance or banking jobs. CAs, CFAs and FRMs do well in the placements. The highest packages could surpass 12-13 LPA and median packages are close to 6-7 LPA. DE Shaw, Zomato, Myntra, Meesho, TCS and McKinsey are some top companies coming here.
