Course curriculum at NMIMS is a very well designed structure. First year is common to all and basics of all fields of management are taught - marketing, finance, analytics, operations and Human resource. Idea is to give the student exposure to overall management and administration. Then, in 2nd year, a student chooses the specialization he wishes to pursue. He studies 8-11 subjects of that specialization as his majors and the rest as minors. Total no. of electives is 15.

Yes, there is proper process for internship the same way like it is for final placements. Companies ask for short profiles of candidates, shortlist them as per their requiremet and conduct interviews. Average stipent is about Rs 17,000 per month and highest stipend was Rs 60,000 per month in 2017.

The college has a record of 100% placements since its inception. The batch of 2016-2018 had 160 students of which 155 were placed. The remaining 5 opted out of placements to pursue entrepreneurial ventures. The highest package for the batch was Rs 16 LPA, offered by ICICI Bank. The average package was Rs 9.8 LPA and median was Rs 8.2 LPA. The college has 6 committees and 10 clubs. The committies hold intra college events throughout the year. They are sports events, cultural events, quizzes, article writing competitions etc. Then there is the college fest "Nityaksha" that takes place in October. All the clubs participate and conduct inter college competitions on PAN India level. We get participation from almost all the prestigious colleges of the country. The events are both technical and cultural. Nityaksha ends with a star night wherein a celebrity makes it a grand day. This year stand up comedians Abees Matthew and Sebastian rocked the show. Then the clubs again have their individual events in January. Eg., Analytics Day, Budget Summit, Excelomania etc.

The total fees is Rs. 13,84,000 for 2 years. This is excluding hostel or other living expenditures. It definitely seems expensive when seen outright. But if viewed from other perspectives like, placements, returns, faculty, college life, atmosphere etc. I feel its moderate to spend this much. Anyway, there is very easy education loan facility. Credila gave me loan for full tution fess at a very low interest rate, without any security. This was due to the brand name "NMIMS"

College has tie ups with Avanse and Credila for education loan. Both of them offer full fees as education loan without and collateral and at very low interest rates. I have taken loan from Credila. The loan got approved and sanctioned within a week without any difficulty.

Gender ratio is 60:40 in favour of boys. NMIMS, being a natioanlized famous and famous in all parts of the country, students from all parts of the country study here. We have students from Himachal Pradesh to Kerala and Maharastra to Arunachal. Extracurricular activities happen round the year. Sports events, workshops on analytics, artificial intelligence, etc happen almost every month.

NMIMS doesnot have in house hostel facility like other colleges. What it does is it leases buildings from local dealers and converts them into hostels. So everything from hostel to facilities like beds, parking, security, mess is outsourced. This ensures good quality all around

Extremely helpful. We get very positive feedback from the corporate regarding good performance of our seniors in their companies. And this helps in building strong relationships with the companies.

Hectic day and MBA go hand in hand in general. There are frequent assignments, mid term exams, individual projects, end term exams to ensure all the days are pretty hectic. But this the fun part. Sitting with colleagues and working on projects late night helps in building relationships and increases networking skills.

Faculty is the most positive thing at NMIMS Bangalore. Maximum of the facult members are PHD holders or are currently pursuing the same. They all are very well experienced and ensure impartial transfer of knowledge to students. NMIMS has very good and expericed faculty across all domains.
