Remarks
We learned great things during my stay at NMIMS. From the importance of managing time to adapting analytical thinking, it was more like an extended personality development cum corporate insight class which spanned over two years and end up changing my career. Infrastructure was pretty good and all the facilities provided were top-notch.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our curriculum was pretty smooth and helped us gain valuable insight into the business process and corporate operations. We learned a lot about managing human resource, at the same time we learned about managing corporate assets and endless other things were part of our curriculum.
Placement Experience
Our training and placement cell is pretty active on our campus. They had tie-ups with some of the great brands like Yamaha, Oyo, Bosch, Bata, Axis, Capital IQ, IBM, etc. Placements are pretty awesome in general, where the average salary package stands at 12 LPA. Though, one of the students from our batch ends up securing a package of around 30 LPA.
Fee Structure And Facilities
In total, I paid 5.75 Lacs for my two-year PGDM program. I took a study loan in order to pay the fee because personally, it was expensive for me. Though the package which I secured made the hefty package worth the pain.
Campus Life
Debate competition, quiz competition, tug of war, and endless other activities and competitions are organized in order to indulge students in activities other than learning. These activities also strengthened our teamwork abilities. On the other hand, endless festive celebrations and corporate events made our stay at the NMIMS worth the while.
Admission
The admission process majorly included having at least 50% graduation marks, presenting valid NMAT entrance exam scores. The next step would be to appear for the counseling round. Overall, the admission process was pretty hectic but the management was pretty supportive throughout the process, which helped. My cousins have done his masters from this college and had a pretty good reference to join the college.
Faculty
The faculty was pretty active and well versed in the curriculum. We learned a lot from them, especially there critical feedback helped us reflect on our mistakes and making us a better individual. Our faculty was pretty accessible as well.
