Remarks

I am lucky to study in this college with the friendly professor, greeny environment, fresh air and every department has AC in the classroom, full of smart classes, wifi facilities also available, and the best place to study and improve our knowledge and skills.

Course Curriculum Overview

The computer science department is the biggest group in our college, there are 60 students, 45 girls and 15 boys in the 2021 - 2023 batch, There are 60+ Computers in our computer lab and the best faculty members, are 5 to 8+ years of experience as teachers with good teaching way students easily understand.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many opportunities are available for the students to achieve their goals and the college is responsible for their goals and keep supporting their side. Every year so many opportunities providing companies are taking students.

Placement Experience

Everyone for eligible and many companies is available for campus placement. Integra, TCS online apply etc. Only I know 4.5L highest package. 80 % of students are working in good companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The exam fees + course fees + others, Totally approximately under 15000 for 2 years with the lowest fees, and scholarships available but I'm not applying because I am delayed that does not matter, every one can apply for a scholarship.

Campus Life

Every year 2nd-year students welcome our freshers by celebrating freshers day, and many competitions are arranged by the college. And every year sports competitions and many cultural functions are arranged by the college.

Campus Life in an island

Likes

It was the most suitable place in India to study the course I chose(Msc Marine Biology). Faculties were experienced and understanding.
Hostel was less than 100 mts away from campus. And had all the necessary lab equipments enough for the students.
Campus Life was one of a kind. As there were only few students overall, everyone knew eachother let that be phd student 2nd year, 1 st year, everyone knew each other. Never had such a college experience before.

Dislikes

Remote location. You have spend money on flights each time you have to take vacation.
Faculties were sometimes felt biased. The evaluation of the papers are done in the same campus itself, so sometimes this bias was seen in marksheets.
Only few students in the overall campus. Not much culture or community activities it's mostly quiet all the time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because it was rare. Not many colleges offer this course. So the certificate has its value. Curriculum doesn't necessarily prepares you for real world applications, but you have to opportunities to develop skills. You can work with phd scholars , they are all very friendly and let's you work with them and learn. The curriculum could be improved by introducing more about fisheries, currently the syllabus focus on oceanography, biochemistry and other laws or policies.

Likes

Campus life is really really great and beautiful, very much enjoyable, and campus is full of greenery and special mention of great night life in campus.
Hostel facilities are really good, safe and cleaned properly.
Really good transport system inside the campus, and special mention for library and reading room also the campus connect internet facility.

Dislikes

Teachers are not that good in subjects, and they are not helpful at all.
Professor are not equipped with proper knowledge and having behavior issues.
Too much hot environment during summer time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course and subject wise it is really good, developing in India. There are enough scopes and opportunities worldwide too. The curriculum exposed you to research work and develop your thinking process.

Likes

Greenery and the atmosphere here and there

There were no dislikes till now to me here
There will be some dislikes anywhere we r going in ..
Mess food ..as some of them cannot habituated to it ..

The demand in food market in these days were too high,that made me to choose this course and here in my department were training so well, the way our department teaches was so good and made us to know each and every thing accordingly the situations in the food markets

I like mainly the nature of our university full of greenary
Friendly nature of staffs and also students with diff States
Programs and fest that are continuously with interaction with other states culture

Dislikes

Full freedom and twenty four hours gate was opened
No placements for our department they only gave guidence
Departments are far away from our hostel and we have to walk to much

The main thing that we have valid central university certificate and useful for future jobs and they teach about phd and future interviews and jobs in my career and also they Suggest best internships for our future

Vast knowledge of the professors and their way of teaching
Professor want to teach us new everyday even after college hours. They make sure that at the end of the day we learn something new.
We can have access to library and reading room 24/7.

Dislikes

Hostel food will not be that good, sometimes it's too horrible
Roads and pathways inside the college is horrible
Water and electricity is not available all the time

Placement Experience:

Placements will began after your 2nd semester. Science students will not have placement. They will have training to clear csir jrf. Management students have placements with annual package around 10 lakhs

M.Sc. Food technology in pondicherry University

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd or 4th semester, students are eligible for placement. Placements are not that much expected but you can get a chance from outside the university. I want to do PhD in this course in future. For a job in this field, you have to be trained first so internship and lab works are important.

About Our college.

Remarks:

All the professors and most good.they will helo us for the whole practical classes and gives every notes for what they are teaching. The only negative point is patients are less in hospital.Since practical can be condected in other hospitals

First, we've to apply online, then we've to write the entrance exam and clear it, and we get a call letter and phone call from the college. We had to attend counseling which they informed us. Have interactions with the teachers regarding the course, fees, and so on. My college can be your college but all you do is join

Our college provides various facilities like a smart classroom with projectors, an air conditioning computer lab, and other labs related to their departments, and it also provides wifi free campus. The faculties are very knowledgeable to make students learn in an easy way and they are also friendly to students.
