college management is very cooperative and wants to do anything for the students in the campus. they takes care of every student and works for equipping its students to be driven by knowledge to confront the world’s great challenges.

I have attended AIEEE and VTUEEE (conducted by Vel Tech University). I got around 250th rank in VTUEEE. We had verified with many of our friends and relatives and old students of the university and found it to be a best among many colleges.

we can have direct access in the official college website, in which we can log in with our personal ID. once we are logged in we can get a complete information of our department day to day schedule, details of faculty, we can ask any query to the research department regarding the subject, we can register any complaints, can access our semester wise marks sheets, can pre request for any book or journals from the library or research resource center of the college.

students of every department can be allowed to perform internships in their respective core companies. there is a separate department for these company relations and we can have a direct access with them. and the internship period and location are very flexible. and the stipend differs with company and location of internship, usually starting from 8k

The University Placement department offers placement assistance focusing on the overall development of the candidate. The department has coined multiple training programs to equip the students to be Industry ready, holding a futuristic multidisciplinary perspective of the real world job demands. This ability to draw insights from multiple referent disciplines to solve complex societal and business challenges has become the essential skill and ability to innovate and think creatively. The University follows outcome based education and innovative practices, focused on curriculum that deliberately integrates skills and ideas such as project-based learning, internships with leading corporate and entrepreneurial thinking, multidisciplinary cross-disciplinary perspectives, and academic professional ethics. Placement Team is coordinated by the Placement Officer and six placement coordinators, the placement department is well equipped with GD and Interview rooms. some of the companies are WIPRO, INFOSYS, CAPGEMINI, AMAZON, ACCENTURE, ZOHO, COGNIZANT, IBM, IGATE, TECH MAHINDRA, etc., and the package ranges from 4 - 25LPA.

there are many clubs being organised by students in the college like photography club, sports club, dance club, musical club, cultural club etc., and all these clubs organizes a numerous events through out the year and any student from any branch can participate in those events. and every festival of any culture and region across the country is being celebrated in the college. cultural fest will be celebrated for 2 days every year in the college for which many students will be attending from not only chennai but also many farther places. and top celebrities will be invited for performing during this cultural fest. this fest involves several activities like dance, music, drama, photography, graffiti, technical and not technical events, face painting, carving, designing, go karting, and many more.

The Educational Pedagogy of the University imbibes CDIO framework in the curriculum, that broadens the student’s knowledge and imparts awareness in their areas of Engineering. The undergraduate curriculum at Veltech Dr.RR & Dr.SR University allows considerable flexibility through CBCS (Choice Based Credit System). fees is feasible and reasonable when compared to other universities. fees varies with course and fr under graduate courses it starts from Rs.1,15,000.

a merit scholarship will also be awarded based on their performance. it will be 100%, 90%, 75%, 50%, 25% off their semester fees and it is purely based on their academic performance. there is a bank inside the college and availing a loan is very easy once entered in the course.

hostel facilities will be separate for both boys and girls, and the hostels are very near to the college campus. care would be taken by the wardens and hostel incharges. Gym, basketball grounds, cricket nets, football grounds,etc are available in the hostel. canteen, ATM etc are also available in the hostel campus. Both south indian and north indian food will be served in the hostel mess. one can dine their on their wish. continuous power supply and WiFi are provided in the hostel and continuous medical facilities are also provided.

alumni will be connected to the college network. every year alumni meet will be conducted and all the staff, management and alumni will have a interaction between them. alumni will be in touch by social media and any updates will be shared with the alumni .

each semester ranges for 6 months and schedule will be prepared in the starting of every semester and will be progressed as that. and assignments will be given for every unit and cycle tests, unit tests and semester exams will be conducted as per the schedule. separate labs which are fully equipped are provided for individual departments and lab classes will be conducted as per schedule, and students should wear their lab uniform which will be like khaki or white apron and it depends on the type of lab they are performing.

when results are out they mailed us the date and location of admission. once we reached the location on prescribed date and time with the mentioned documents, admission process has started and it took 2 hours and finally got the allotment in the desired branch.

we can directly interact with our faculty during their leisure hours or if we have any doubt we can ask them through our registered mail or through college login. they are very dedicated to solve any of our doubts as soon as possible. most of the faculty details are provided in our login pages so we are free to contact them in any means at any time.
