Remarks

College is good and it is in heart of city. try to improve placement. Upgrade teachers to higher standards.

Entrance Preview

Entrance Examination: Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (CET)-2010 Score: 91 I choose this college because it is in heart of the city and that time only 2-3 engineering college is there. As my first choice is K. K. Wagh Institute of engineering & Research ,Nashik but i not get that college so my second option is this college. Admission process consist of CAP rounds & Institute level admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Course curriculum was nice which goes from basics to advance. Each semester it focuses on developing technical & non technical skills. Research work starts with 3rd year and same work continue as last year project. In last year there is chance to select elective subject as per students choice. I select multimedia instead of artificial intelligence. In every 5 years curriculum was changed.

Internships Opportunities

No. College not provide any facility of internship. Industry-Institute relation was poor. No provision of expert lecture or industrial visit is there at that time. very few may be 1 or 2 students get placement through college.

Placement Experience

2

Local companies are visited to college with package of 1.2 lakh per annum. Placement facility was very poor. College always believe in pool campus which held in other colleges. Placement facility for mechanical was good.College end certificate is paper but no knowledge so finding job opportunity is to be done by you only.

College Events

3.5

In each year technical event was held called as Kshitij which include Quiz, Project, Paper presentation competition. Participation was good.2 or 3 days workshops was also arranged but fees need to be paid by students. Annual 3 days cultural gathering was held which include DJ night & Dinner. Participation was also good in number. Farewell party arranged for last year students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was feasible. It was around 33000.0 per year & 2000.0 exam fee. In second year fees increases but due to student strike it was again reduces to original fee. Fees can be paid in 2 installments. Scholarship facility provided to eligible students. Fees includes stationary which is given after starting of college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facility is available as per government rules & Scholarship facility is also available is per given by state government.

Campus Life

4.5

Gender ratio: 1:1 Canteen facility was very poor in college but external food stalls are available in nearby places. parties are done of samosa & Misal. Once in week party is done but not in college. Workshop is very good and we enjoy all work done in that in first year. all staff are cooperative & skilled. Boys & Girls talk freely but keeping sufficient distance among them. Security & Culture not allows to live freely. Students from all religion are part of college but 90 % are maratha or hindu. College has uniform and not a single day is allowed to wear another dress. As this college run by Nashik District Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj (NDMVP) which is second largest education society in Maharashtra so economical status is good and fair. College has political background of congress which shows in faculty recruitment. Annul sports and gathering was arranged nicel, department organizes annual competition i .e Kshitij-2017 which give nice platform to test & show knowledge.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel only available to girls & it was very good. Mess facility not provided to students. Boys are living in separate rooms outside of college on sharing basis. Canteen facility was very poor almost 0.Mess facility not available but water facility was nice. Cooler and filter placed on each floor.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are always helpful. All guidance regarding next year class was given by alumni & seniors. Before taking admission i ask one of alumni of college and he says that college is good. Before practical exam all hard practicals are explained by seniors or they guide us to take part in sports or social gathering.

Exam Structure

Exam structure includes practical exam & Theory exam.Class room, Labs and exam hall very ambitious. Cleanness is good & Environment was very fresh.Structure of benches was very good. Lab includes all necessary equipment. Days are chilled out bit it turns to hectic in time of submission or summer.

Admission

I take admission in institute level quota. As my score was low in entrance examination so i decided to go in institute level quota instead of admitting in another college. Administration & procedure includes talk with trustee & principal. By giving test at college level i succeed to take admission in that college.

Faculty

2.5

Faculty is average as they only concentrated on taking lectures. Very few faculties are teaches with dedication and encourages to participate in all type of activities.Teachers are not fluent in English speaking. Faculties are not upgraded as per market and they like to perform practicals which is copied from last batch. Faculties are qualified as per requirement but dedication & teaching style is missing.
