Remarks

I applied for many colleges in Mumbai but I preferred St. John as it was convenient for me and even it has good campus and faculty which was the reason i opted for this college. The Admission was on merit. Even ex students were the university topper.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course has good future in medicine and even chemistry lovers like me can opt for this course and enjoy learning more about their interests. Faculty members are well trained and qualified. Modern technology is used to teach students in an understandable way.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship is offered after third year to all the students for 1 month. Companies like Neon Laboratories, Naprod Life Sciences, Influx, etc. are offered. Stipend depends on each company. Projects are held in final year under the guidance of higher faculties.

Placement Experience

Placement takes place after final year. Interview based placements are conducted. TCS, Divine Laboratories, etc. companies come for the placements. Students get opportunity in many departments for job like QA, QC, production, formulation and development, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees ranges from 116000 to 125000 and for OBC fees is reduced to 50%. Caste scholarship and EBC are the scholarships which is helpful for the students to be under less financial burden. Placements are provided at the last year.

Campus Life

Cultural, sports and Annual event is held in Dec- Jan. Every year on 25 and 26th Jan there is Science fest which helps students to showcase their talents through projects, competitions and events. Technical and cultural events take place regularly.

St John's SJIPR experience

I applied for other colleges like st Francis Andrew's and angels and I wasn't restricted to only pharma colleges as I was fine with the Engg department (CS) in the end I chose St John institute of pharmacy and research bcoz I had the marks and was qualified in the first round and I didn't want to extend the process so I froze my seat or SJIPR. I had a score of 91 at Cet PCMB so I was more than qualified and entered without availing and quota amd there was no age restriction as long as one had their HSC mark sheet and Cet scorecard 60%in HSC and a cut of 71 in Cet. Once I got SJIPR as my college in round one I was to freeze the seat online and go for document verification within a week or so and once I verified my documents I had to pay a sum of Rs 1000 and once it was done I was given a date to start college and after a couple of weeks, I had to pay my fees for the first yr of my course....Read More
