Remarks

I got admission through EAMCET. Eligibility as of my knowledge if you get a rank below 10000. Then you are eligible for admission. There is another way also. You can join directly through SRM direct exam. For the SRM exam, there are no reservations as to my knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose CSE because I'm interested in coding and computer-related stuff. 50-60 students will be there in each class. All faculty are highly qualified and very good. Most of them live in college quarters only. You can clarify your doubt at any time. There will be two semesters and in each sem, you will have 1mid and 1 final exam.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Placement Experience

From 3 rd year onwards companies will come to the campus directly. Amazon, Google and many foreign companies visit us. Last year the highest package is 50 LPA. Almost every student will get placed with a minimum package of 4-5 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are approximately 1 lakh for students joined through Eamcet. For students who joined through SRM direct exam, their fees will be more. There is no hike in fees. In the second year, you will get a chance for internships.

Campus Life

There are many clubs like cubing club, singing club, movie club etc. For every special occasion, they will conduct programs like blood donation and a program on yoga day like that. There is a big library and a very big ground is also there.

Hostel Facilities

We have AC rooms. Food is good in hostels not the best but is it manageable. For hostel registration on the college website, they will give a link we can register for hostels from there. I think a rain tree park or near Mangalgiri or even Vijayawada is best to stay in if you are not interested in hostels.

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Supportive faculty and enjoyable campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Deloitte and many more have recruited students.The highest package is 16 LPA and average package is 4LPA. Almost 70-80% students have placed in different companies.

Creating and Building your own self with Ashoka

Placement Experience:

Placements at our college have been fairly consistent and have been getting better over time. The college also helps students prepare through aptitude classes, mock interviews, and soft-skills training, which really builds confidence. Some other colleges talked about very high packages, but when I looked closely, the placement details weren’t very clear or only applied to a small number of students, so this college felt like a more practical and dependable choice.

So probably my course is cyber security. It helps me more and grow in society for a better gentleman in society like the cyber security helps more in society by stopping cyber crimes. Cyber thefts etc. It's also teaches the Bitcoin and trading course especially they teach how to deal with market. The cyber security has a opportunity by entering department of police by doing tracking activities and surfing in websites and stopping cyber crimes in surrounding areas. So the curriculum of cyber security has a great future.

After completing my intermediate I have applied for sastra University Thanjavur,SRM AP,VIT AP. However I couldn't get into sastra as I didn't get a CSE seat in it due to less marks and regional difference. Compared to VIT and SRM I thought SRM is better as it has better infrastructure, placements and good faculty. Students can get admission either through SRMJEEE or EAMCET . There is no cutoff rank for students through SRMJEEE. Cutoff for Students through EAMCET changes according to their caste. I chose SRM AP over VIT or local picks due to its modern tech focus. Some students miss IIT or NIT because of high JEE ranks. SRM AP is a top private choice for CSE. I mainly choose this as this is a university and also they have a high percentage of placements for students in the university.
