Shivam's Review On IIMT Group Of Colleges, Greater Noida

It was a great honor & experience to be a part of IIMT as it does not only give the theoretical knowledge but practical knowledge also. The placements are also very good as I have got placed in renowned companies & MNC’s. And also there are so many curricular activities which enhance the presence of mind of students.

I gave JEE Mains entrancde exam. My rank was 66K and I got IT branch easily. When your result got out. You have to attend the counselling in which you have to choose your branch and location (Noida or Greater Noida). In counselling you have to submit some documents.

According to me, B.Tech is very hectic schedule degree which has so much theory and technical subjects which are not managed by the students. Teachers do not focus on the technical subject instead of theoretically things. I am the student of b.tech (Information Technology) so I have focused on high-level languages like C, C++, Java etc.

Yes, this college provides the internship. The Training Cell of this college is responsible for arranging training for the students to meet their degree requirement to the undergraduate and postgraduate students. Most of the companies visited our campus and selected some students for the internship purpose like Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Justdial, IDS Infotech Limited etc.

With only one event coming up this year which is the cultural fest of the college. It is also not conducted properly and it is very dull, boring and colorless. Tech fests are also to be conducted but students take very less interest in it because of its very low cash prizes.

This college has Fully air-conditioned and networked Academic Blocks and Hostels with internet and Wi-Fi connectivity Well equipped Ultra Modern Labs, workshops and well-stocked library Faculty residences Food street / Shopping center/ Mess for daily needs of students. It also provides the facilities of Amenities such as gym, Olympic-sized swimming pool, badminton courts etc. Amenities like Dispensary, Banking, Teleservices, Transport etc.

There are many Men's Hostels, which accommodate 3000 students in single, double, Three, four bedded and six bedded rooms. A gym facility is also attached with a well maintained swimming pool. There are also many Women's Hostels have room for 1300 students. Women students have access to gym facilities and a newly built swimming pool inside one of these hostel premises.

The faculty of the college is somewhat good and has some experienced faculty members. New teachers coming up are very poor in their technical knowledge and are not able to teach in good manner. The experienced faculty members are very in cooperating in nature and always look to cut marks and decrease the grades of students. The faculty is not good at all leaving a few ones.
