SRM has a very large number of students. And when I say LARGE, I really mean it.The placement is very satisfactory.And the bad thing about it is that it's fee structure.

For getting admission in SRM I have to qualify SRMJEEE.I score 285 out of 365 marks.After getting marks I was call for counselling.

The duration of B Tech course is about 4 years Andy have to pay RS 250000 every year as tuition fee.This allows the construction of a program relevant to your specific interests, subject to academic approval. Domestic students may study part-time, but part-time students will not be eligible for the stipend.

There are many companies that recruit the students.Some of them are Amazon, Microsoft, Huawei, etc.The university has provided the complete infrastructure for effective functioning of the cell. Training activities are organized throughout the year in an effort towards preparing the prospective students for the campus selection programs. The specialty of the university is, personality development course is integrated into the curriculum from the first to sixth semester and also includes a lot of foreign languages as German, Japanese, Korean, French, Chinese, etc.

Placements were good as always with 100% placements. Companies like Snapdeal, Bidgley, Microsoft, and Goldman Sachs visited the campus. Internships were also offered to almost all the students of the department. I have heard of a stipend of 2 lacs per month, which was the highest here.

The annual technical and cultural fests here are splendid. In the technical fest "Tryst", world class professors and technicians are invited. And the cultural fest "Rendezvous" is the biggest college fest in north India, with many stars like Vishal and Shekhar, Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Arijit Singh performing in the fest in the last few years.

The fee structure is so expensive about 250000 rupee per semester.The students enrolling here are made ethically strong and confident to handle all the situations in their career. The fee structure has been devised keeping in mind that students from all strata may enroll here.Freeships are provided to meritorious and needy students who cannot afford the engineering fee structure.

SRM University offers several scholarships, fee waiver schemes, teaching and research assistance to meritorious and deserving students. Large number of students tremendously benefit from such schemes.Students who have secured 95% and above in PCM or PCB in the qualifying examinations and also ranked amongst the top 10000 in SRMJEEE are eligible to apply for this scholarship having a value of up to 50% of tuition fee waiver in the branch they are eligible for at the time of counseling.

Gender ratio depends on which course you are going to join. I am passed out student from SRM kattankulathur in 2016.It was 1-59 girl boy ratio in automobile branch and almost similar in all other branches. If you are really concerned about boy girl ratio better to join local collages in your home town

SRM University, provide a wide choice in selecting the type or rooms in a hostel to suit every budget, with an aim of providing a decent stay and the best possible learning environment.The students staying at SRM hostels are provided with healthy and sumptuous food options at highly subsidized rates. They can choose to have North Indian or South Indian menu in the dining halls that are co-located.

I do not know many of the famous/successful alumni from SRM University.But, to seek from my memory, if I will, I am having a name who is an emerging famous singer from there..The owner of beautiful voice Abhay Jodhpurkar.He got fame by singing a song called- "Moonghil Thottam" from the movie "Kadal" Directed by - Maniratnam and music composed by- A.R. Rehman.

Candidates must carry SRMJEEE 2017 admit card and an identity proof, which bears the photograph and date of birth, which will be verified at the exam centre.Candidates can only take pen/pencil inside the exam centre of SRMJEEE 2017.Question paper will be only in English.Questions are of objective type.Each question has 4 alternate answers.The correct answer has to be chosen and the appropriate oval should be shaded.Duration of the Examination 2: 30 Hours.

I got admission by merit.I qualify SRMJEEE and then I was called for counselling where I submitted my documents and then I started to went to college.Now we talk about administration,the administration was really good and in well planned.The student ratio is also good and faculty are also mind blowing.

The faculty members at SRM are very good. They are super knowledgeable and well-qualified. All kinds of teaching methods like projecting slides, playing videos and writing on boards are used. But, the industry exposure is little less than expected. The curriculum is very well-planned and is very useful for the overall development of a student.
