Yes, there is an entrance exam for admission called eamcet or ecet(for lateral entrystudentst). Application form for eamcet will be provided every year. Can be found on google. Reservation benefits are provided for SC and ST students. No change in the admission process.

I have chosen this course for government jobs. In chemical engineering there are more government jobs are provided. Faculty are friendly with students. There is an equal ratio of faculty and students. Qualification of faculty was M. Tech or Ph.D. There will be an exam for every semester and normally can pass the exam.

From 4-to 1 semester students are eligible for campus placements. There are many IT and core companies visited and I offered Wipro. Percentage to get placed in campus above 65precentage. Get a job and join a company.
