Remarks

I love our college for its culture, its people and for the environment as well. The first year of my course I was little shy, as the time passes I make many friends, feeling free to ask questions to teachers and enjoyed every bit of life.Teachers treat us like as our seniors and there is no barrier between junior and senior students.

Entrance Preview

There is no particular scoring system for admission.Governing body of our college does not conduct Entrance exams. For B.A course 10+2 passed out is compulsory with minimum 50% marks in arts stream is compulsory.5% relaxation for SC/ST students.

College Events

3.5

Lots of events organised in our college.AICTE organised seminars every year.To improve writing skill, annually essay writing competition is also held. And the participation of every student is compulsory.I Love Rongali competition and always participated.

Campus Life

4

Campus life of our college was best. Ratio to girls and boys are 60% and 40%.In our college, I had never seen any gender discrimination.Equal participation for boys and girls in the academics as well as extracurricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

4

I stayed in a girl's hostel. In my hostel, I got all the facilities. There was a Television room with multiple channel facilities.Round the clock security. Warden was always available to look after the need of the students.Electricity and water facility is also available.

Faculty

4

Our teaching faculty was very cooperative. Well experienced and highly qualified full-time faculties were involved in core academics.Corporate executives and reputed academicians also took special classes. All teachers teaching techniques were commendable.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Performing Arts have more of practical things as from acting to direction we are taught everything. History and Theory as some theory part and the kind of career path that our course provides, I think for students interested in this, should join our course at Christ University.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of the dual degree that it has to offer, christ is one of the very few institutions that offer dual degree and allow you to explore both the subjects or gain combined knowledge of both the subjects. The curriculum is very up to date with subjects that relate to real world problems. What i like the most about my curriculum is the Learner centric approach where they divide the class into halves so that the teacher student ratio can be maintained in order to achieve full efficiency. One area of improvement can be inculcating more soft skills traininng into it.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placement in their final years. The companies which comes for the placement are deloitte, goldmanSachs, amazon and many more reputed companies. And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students arw given chances to take exams and get job opportunities from there. Field trips and internships, orientations, talk shows are organized to prepare students further before stepping out for jobs. They can either take the placements they get or opt for higher studies, which is what i am doing as a degree in psychology alone does not grant a wide scope in the jobs spectrum.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements towards the final semester of their course. Currently, I have only been using the help of my faculty for internship opportunities, since I am not looking for placements. But they have connections with big names in the communication sector, and they often have personalities coming in to give talks and interact with the students. A great number of students opt for placements and approximately 90% of them do end up getting posted at really good companies. Others choose to continue with higher education. My plan after receiving my degree would be to take up a diploma in literature in the UK, while simultaneously finding myself a position at a good publishing house there.

Placement Experience:

From my seniors, I hear that 20/30 % of students from our college get placed. But now being in my final sem I know the reality. For covid and lockdown, the placement sector has been badly hit. Only a handful of companies came this year (5/6 companies). 4/5 people from our batch are placed but no placement for the big chunk of people. From 5th sem students become eligible for placements but in 5th sem, no company came to our college for placement this year. Only in the 6th sem, the placement cell started. Companies that visited till now ( some of them came to take interns and didn't offer full-time jobs) 1) Clevertize, 2) Social Panga, 3) Robert Bosch GmbH, 4) Saatchi & Saatchi, 5) Publicis, 6)PR Pundit, 7) McKinsey, 8) Edsol Edtech, 9) Momo Media, 10) MSL, 11) Genesis BC, Offers: 1.5-3 LPA (average). I plan to send CVs personally to companies through LINKEDIN and other job search platforms because the college hasn't provided us with good placement offers as claimed.
