IIPE is an institute of national importance at par with IITs and IIMs and takes admission solely on basis of your score in JEE Advanced. The eligibility criteria include a minimum 75% in class XII boards and the reservation system is similar to any other government college.

The course curriculum is fairly extensive and industry oriented. The faculty is extremely knowledgeable and student-friendly. Our Faculty have done their PhDs in some of the top colleges in India, including ISM Dhanbad, and IIT Kharagpur, to name a few. They go out of the way to help clear the student's doubts and try to ensure that all students actively participate during the lectures The Faculty to Students ratio is approximately 1:10. All exams are conducted in a timely manner, according to the Academic Calendar prepared at the beginning of the session. The papers are set in a way to test the basic conceptual understanding of the student, rather than his memory. The exams are moderately difficult, but one needs to be clear about the basics in order to pass.

The college provides Internship opportunities to all 3rd year students. We boast of a 100% Internships placement for the batch 2023, with students being alloted Internships across the length and breadth of the country, in prominent organizations like ONGC, IOCL, ISRO, Saint Gobain, SG Analytics, HPCL, MRPL and BPCL, to name a few.

The Campus Placements for the 2022 batch have been exceptional and overwhelming, with 98% of registered students being placed, while the rest have opted for higher studies. The placement season has seen a plethora of reputed companies across different sectors hiring our students. Reputed Companies like ONGC, IOAGPl, and Torrent Gas have recruited our Petroleum Engineering Graduates. In the IT and Data Analytics Sector, TCS and EXL Analytics have been some prominent recruiters. The average CTC is 970000, with the highest package being 2400000, offered by ONGC to 11 of our students. The placement policy is very flexible to ensure that the students can get maximum benefit. For a batch size of 86, we received around 110 offers, with some students bagging multiple offers

The course fees at IIPE are very economical and affordable. The fee structure is as follows: 75,000 per semester as tuition fee and 25,000 per semester as hostel fees, for those who opt for it. The hostel mess charges are around 5,000 per month. The fee is the same across all the batches and has been constant for the past 4 years.

Currently, we are operating from a transit campus, as our permanent campus is under construction. Our transit campus is located at Andhra University, so you can take benefit from all the facilities at Andhra University. The location is very good, with beaches and beautiful hill stations nearby. We have a variety of different clubs, which include the IIPE SPE Student Chapter, IIPE AAPG Student Chapter, Literary Club, Photography Club, Coding Club, Entrepreneurship Club, and committees like Cultural Committee and Sports Committees. The IIPE SPE Student Chapter is quite active and regularly conducts webinars, workshops, quizzes, and conferences, which you can on their Instagram or LinkedIn handles. The classrooms are well equipped with Centralised Air conditioning, blackboards, digital whiteboards, a projector, and comfortable benches. During our offline college, we conducted Sports Day and Cultural fests.

The hostel rooms are very spacious and far better than the facilities at many of the IITs. All rooms are twin sharing with an attached bathroom. There is also a facility for A/c installation at an additional, affordable cost. The hostel location is very good, located close to the city center as well as the college. The rooms and bathrooms are regularly Cleaned. The food at IIPE hostels is of good quality, although you might take some time to adjust to the taste. One benefit is that the menu is decided by the students and can be changed on a monthly basis. The vendors cook special food at festivals.
