Remarks
My time as a BITian was filled with great experience and a huge learning curve with respect to the teachers. The ratio of student to teacher is small as the institute only accepts a smaller margin of students than compared to other universities; thus giving the students a chance to learn from great professors with a high experience with only a smaller student base to share with. the admission process was very easy.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose MBA as it was and is a professional course wanted in many companies for higher hierarchy roles. The faculty: student ratio is relatively lowered than others as the number of students is lowered in comparison to other institutions. The minimum qualification of a faculty is with around 4-5 years of teaching experience and most of them have several national and international journals under their belts. They are professionals with a drive to teach. The term exams are relatively always on scheduled times with the difficulty of passing being moderately low.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is relatively cheaper than other B schools and institutions that provide the same course. The cost of study increases for non-localities due to the unavailability of any hostel from the institute's side but there are ample amounts of pg's and rentals available for students to look for. The scholarship depends on the individual student's performance and the job I got was in a reputed Banking brokerage with a stipend of around 4L.
Campus Life
The life at the campus is more aligned to the academics but there is a scheduled cultural fest in the month of Feb-march and many other seminars conducted by the institute itself. The campus life is relatively more peaceful than in other institutions.
