For those who are interested in Management, this is 'the best' college for same and is marked the No.1. College for MBA for many years. Admission process: 1.Entrance test 2. Group discussion 3. Personal Interview . A micro presentation is where a student is given a topic to speak about for 90 seconds.

MBA program is of 2 years and this colleges offers the specialization in Human resource, finance, Information technology, banking, finance and marketing. Campus Life

College has good infrastructure with a good canteen. The classrooms are equipped with a projector as well as has a good interior. College infrastructure is the best as its calm and silent which give a halo effect to the knowledge.

Teachers are good and friendly. All the faculty members have an international exposure and have enough work experience. The faculty members are the best, they work very hard for student betterment. They focus on students' development to a great extent. The course curriculum is one of the best to help you out in our career.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For jobs, it prepares you very well. You work through real case studies, Harvard business simulations, and a 4-to-6-month corporate internship, so you aren't completely clueless on day one at an office. If your goal is a PhD or pure research, though, it leans a bit too practical and corporate rather than deeply academic.

Life at ISME

Likes

I liked the faculty members as they are very approachable
Mentorship programs, international certifications
The diversity of students in our batch. Students came from all the parts of India.

Dislikes

College is very far from the main city and the airport as well.

Curriculum is very student friendly. We have guest lectures from various industry experts, subject matter experts etc. Our course is more practical based and industry focused. We also have regular exams for continuous monitoring.

Great Learning Experience

Likes

The batch size is small and competitive.
The International Immersion Program at Singapore
Industry Trajectory Program, which includes paid internship opportunities for 6 months months at top companies like Grant Thornton and ITC

Dislikes

The campus is far away from the main city
The 80% attendance in college is mandatory

Placement Experience:

We sit for final placements from our second year whereas other internship opportunities starts from the very beginning, like in our first year we had companies like EY and Deloitte for our Summer Internship Placement (SIP)

Likes

Facility is very qualified. Faculties from IIM are also there. They are very friendly. They gives us extra support and mentorship after class also
College infrastructure is also good. Full of greenery amd calm environment and location is aldo good.
Placement is also good. And ROI is also good as per the fees.

Dislikes

The schedule is very hectic. And hostel timing is also short for returning.

Placement Experience:

Placements are also there 240+ recruiters come for campus placements. Average package is 8 to 9 lakhs and highest package is 17 lakh. We have Industry trajectory programme with big 4 like Kpmg GT etc

Likes

We have good faculties, who are very friendly and approachable
Study matarial is also very helpful, we are getting enough information and learnings we want
Corporate exposure of this college is amazing...we are getting good internships related to our feild

Placement Experience:

240 recruiters come to this college....we have industry trajectory program, placement oriented term, mock interviews, workshops. We have average package of 8pla and highest package is 17 lpa. We have career opportunities cell which prepare you for summer internships and final placement. In ITP students get stipend between 25 to 40k.

I had wriiten PGCET exam. Most of the college give first preference to CAT, MAT and other management seats. I had applied to Acharya Institute of Management, AIMS and BMS and the cutoff here was within 2000 ranking. since my ranking was beyond 2000 I was not selected here. Then I had kept JKSHIM as an option and I was alloted seat here as per my ranking. Admission process was quite simple at JKSHIM.
