Truths about MANIT

You may enter this college by giving JEE (main) exam. Admissions are done on the basis of rank in JEE (main) through JOSAA councelling and CSAB special rounds. You should get a decent percentile to enter this college. The cutoff for general category is 95 percentile. The cutoff for OBC category is 90 percentile. For SC category cutoff is about 80 percentile. ST category students have a cutoff of 70 percentile. You may apply for JEE (main) exam through online mode in the NTA official website. Charges may apply according to your category. After results are declared for JEE exam,the councelling process will start shortly. To know more about the councelling schedule you may go to the JOSAA official website. At first there are 2 trail rounds. You can fill the choices according to your wish. You may also change the choices after 2nd trail round but after that you cannot make changes in the choices. After this 6 rounds and later CSAB special rounds will be held.

My course is Electronics and Communication Engineering.I have chosen this course because I am very interested to work in the field of electrinics. MANIT's faculty are very much qualified.There are many Doctorates and Masters from top IITs like IIT mumbai,delhi and kanpur. Teaching methods are very practical and student friendly. There is a 1:60 faculty:student ratio. Exams are conducted 3 times in a semester. Continuos evaluation method is adopted for assessing the overall ability of students.

The top recruiters of placements in 2021 include JPMC,Goldman Sachs,Deutsche Bank and many other leading companies. MANIT also provide many good internship oppurtunities to students.You can start internship programme from 3rd year.

The placements are decent in our college.The average package of all branches is around 13 lakhs per annum. The highest package is about 64 lakhs per annum. Placements are highest in CSE and ECE branches.The placements are decent for core branches.

The fee structue is based on the category to which you belong. For SC/SC/OBC with income below 1 lakh there is no tution fee. If a canditate belong to OBC and family income is in between 1 to 5 lakhs, the tution fees is INR 20000 per semester If you belong to GEN/EWS/OBC with income more than 5 lakh per annum, the tution fees is INR 62500 per semester

MANIT is spread vastly in a 650 acre area. It is situated in Bhopal,the City of Lakes. The infrastructure if campus cantain administrative block and academic buildings,community centre,workshops and beautiful hostels. The campus is filled with greenery. MANIT is named for Spacious class rooms and Excellent workshops. There is a sports complex in which there is a gym,table tennis courts,basketball and badminton courts. You can enjoy the campus life in a great way.

There are total 12 hostels in the campus. There are 11 hostels for boys and 1 hostel for girls. You will get a 3 seater room in first year. From second year you can choose 1/2/3 seater rooms. There is a mess for every block in each hostel. There is no seperate south indian mess. But both south and north varieties are served. Overall hostel experience is good.
