Good placement, friendly faculty and average infrastructure

The admission process is based on a B.ed CET score and graduation marks. CET is conducted by IP University every year, and the minimum mark required for graduation is 50% to get admission. Application forms are easily available online on many websites. You can easily download all information related to admission through the GGSIPU website. The admission process is easy and I do not think there is any kind of improvement required.

I choose this course because it was my dream to become a teacher. I think that teacher is the most respected job in this world. The faculty is very friendly and humble. They are highly qualified and professional. Few faculty are very strict and they treat us like a schoolboy. The faculty and student ratio is about 1:8. The term exam is conducted every six months. The semester exam is not very difficult for that student who attends class on regular basis.

After the 3rd semester student becomes eligible for campus placement. From batch mostly students are decided to join only government teacher jobs so they have not attended campus placement. About 90% of student get placement who has attended campus placement. The highest package was 4.2 lac per annum, the lowest package was 2.4 lac per annum and the average package was 3 lac per annum. Most schools from Delhi-NCR visited for placement.

B.ed is a total two-year course program and there is a total of 4 semesters. College fees are on yearly basis. Total fees for my course were around 210000 which included college fees and university fees. Yes, the college provides scholarships and financial assistance to a student who comes from the economically weaker section.

Classrooms is modern with all facilities like air-conditioning, a big projector, LED lights, and comfortable seating space. The college provides medical and gym facilities for every student and these facilities are without any charges. The college has many libraries because they offer many courses and the student count is also good. The library has a very good number of books which helps the student to save money to buy extra books. The college conducts many extracurricular activities on campus every year.

College has boys' and girls' hostels. There is a very limited number of colleges under IPU that provide hostel facilities. The girls' hostel of the college is located around 3-4 km away and the college provides transportation to every student. The hostel room is good and the food is also good. The location of the hostel is awesome. There are many happening places nearby. Yes, there are many PGs also available nearby college but those are very expensive.
