Entrance Preview

I have taken entrance in MCA(Master of Computer Application) since i was having interest in Computer and Computer Programming Languages. I have given PRE-MCA exam and secured good score for college and selected Mahakal Institute of Computer Sciences for this course. Visited College campus also. Campus is created very nice outside city and having bus facility for students and faculty on reasonable price.

Course Curriculum Overview

MCA course contain study on all computer programming languages like C,C++, artificial intelligence, data structure,software eng ,JAVA etc. It gives us understanding on all variants of programming skills during tenure of 3 years. Last sem will be Live Project and it is the time to showcase the knowledge which we earn in 2.5 years of time. After completing this course we got an opportunity to appear from campus interviews.

Internships Opportunities

Internship Experience was nice our College help us in finding company where we can perform live project we got detailed information on project and got good learning also during this session.

Placement Experience

Mahakal Instititue of Computer Science provides student facility to be well prepared for on campus as well as off campus interviews managment take care of this and prepare lectures in such a way so that student will be be prepared and can face any challenging task during interviews. Mock interview,mock test etc conducted on regular basis. College Placement Cell has tie up with several MNC's and they invite them for placements.

College Events

Festival in Mahakal Instititute of Computer Science is awesome every year for all the branches college organized sports week as well as cultural week for students to showcase there talent. Full week is complete fun and annual day is followed by lunch.

Campus Life

Campus is maintained nicely we have temple there where one can visit whenever they feel free labs are well designed and contain all the necessary things gender ratio is also ok platform provided to student who want to perform, participate and showcase their talent on state level, national level sport week happen every week and all the sports competition happen during that period.

Alumni/Alumna

In the age of computer, making network is not a big task over facebook we have college FB page where most of the student are connected college also celebrate alumi week and send invitation to all the students it was overall nice experience.

Placement Experience:

MCA placements start from 3rd semester. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra visit. Highest package around 7lpa, average is 3-3.5lpa. About 60-70% students get placed. Jobs are mostly in IT, Testing and Support. I plan to work in software and appear in tech exam.

Story of government colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a tech geek I like to work on computer or designing programs . The course was a ladder for my dreams but I come from a middle family and after searching a while I found that it's more suitable for me to study in a government college due to financial condition. They taught us well what was in our syllabus, I think if there were smart classes that should add a plus point in the college after all a course about computer applications and while teaching computers are not included sounds bad . Exams and tests were conducted time to time and as the course ascends exams get quite difficult.

From 5th Semester , placement starts and mostly students are placed in 3 to 4 months. Around 80% gets placed every year. Avg package is around 11 lpa. Lowest package is 7 lpa Highest is 30lpa not sure. Getting job after degree

I just joined the college in this year. But in every week I saw that many senior students got placement minimum of 3 lakh . I forgot but from from 3-4 semester students are eligible for campus placement.

Write now i am in first semester, but from the 3rd sem there would be companies coming for us too . In betch session 2024 students of CS are getting placed with package of 12 LPA , the average package of College is 3.2 Lakh , and most of the students of MCA from previous batch got 3-4 LPA package. Almost 30-40 % students are getting placed . Most likely i will be getting a package from the college. Companies like StartApps , TCS , Consultad , often come .
