Remarks

As per my Nata score, I was eligible to proceed with Architecture. Generally, Y'all can get admission in Architecture from any of the entrances like NATA or JEE Paper 2. I have Visited Various Architecture Colleges and the Application was provided in two ways Cap round and Offline during Pandemic scenarios. So, I personally filled out college forms and when the portal for the cap round was provided so, I have selected TSAP as my first priority and according to it I got Admission to TSAP in the first Cap Round itself and my form was already there in TSAP so, it was quite a fast process for my admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

My Family Background is full-on Architects by generation so, I have selected Architecture as my field. I am really grateful to all the teachers of TSAP, Who have been ever approachable, for helping me understand difficult concepts in an easier and digestible manner. Every faculty have a master's degree in their own field, as in the interior, landscape, urban planning, etc. The ratio of faculty with students is 1 Faculty for 10 Students and during Lecture 3 Faculty for 1 class.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides a scholarship for students who are from the Lower class, also if the student has Low Income Certificate then the fee gets low to around 50% so, students can pay half of the fee. The scholarship is provided by the state DBT Cell so, candidates have to register themselves on that cell.

Campus Life

4

The college is equipped with all facilities to create an environment where feel comfortable and safe. The environment is one of the learning and exploration. The entire college campus encompasses a variety of facilities for students to explore, be comfortable, and evolve.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation. There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.
