Remarks

The admission process is simply based on our 12th class results and the Mass communication course is openly required for every stream of students who have an interest in the area of media & productions fields. As a student, you need minimum of 50 percent marks in the 12th class & rest documentation.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I'm interested in videography or in editing courses. This is a professional course so there are only 60 seats decided for new admissions. if you have the skills you can come in. The department teaching method is so cool because of the smart class or technical computer lab and a highly modified studio for news productions & printing news. The session nearby started normally from July or August but due to COVID in the past 2 years, there are short timing for 1 session and nearby three or four months sessions for one semester that's why online education takes place and we got online study about our subjects. Our exams are going in November or December for the odd semester and for the even semesters around April to Mid June. The examination process is so creative by college staff. A different method is used in my ist semester there were both online & offline (physical) modes, it is called the blended mode of examination. I'll choose the first online exam and got good marks in my ist semester, I've gotten 88 percent.

Internships Opportunities

5

My internship review is 3.8 out of 5. Recently I completed my internship in India news and this is a good & valuable time for me to get more information & knowledge about my future or career. There's a project in our department and that is a weekly project for us PRERNA newspaper that is created by Mass communication students in this edition of the newspaper there's all news of campus & new event's about college. After completing the edition the newspaper ( PRERNA) is distributed to all departments in the college.

Placement Experience

5

From IVTH sem (2nd year) students is eligible for internship or placements. Recently Dainik Bhaskar or Zee NEWS visited our college and they give permanent employment opportunities to eligible skills students. The highest package is given in Tourism & Management department ( 6.8 LPA ) There's almost 45 percent of all students from all departments get placement except B.A department. After graduation, my plan is to take admitted an M.A(mass communication).

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is good for every student because of Arya samaj. We can pay fees in three(3) installments in this way we can afford the best studies at minimum fees. There's also a program where students can get some concession in fees because of their financial strikes due to COVID-19. The scholarship program is now good for all students in college Haryana government is set the order that now all categories (General OBC/BC and SC) students can get scholarships now in different scholarship schemes. Last year I fill up the scholarship form and the scheme name is a post-matric scholarship for OBC/BC and SC students luckily I am eligible for that and I got my full fees back in the next 6 months in my bank account.

Campus Life

5

There's a talent show which was organized by our college continuously for the last 15 years. There are all books available for students like subjects book stories and literature also. Our sports complex is so good in our city because of the best coach and head players. The website name is Aryapgcollege.ac.in

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum was highly relavant to my academic and career interest which offers a strong balance between the theroatical concepts and real life implications. one of the key factors that influenced my decision to choose this course was that there are wide varity of subjects available to choose from which allowed to talor my learning according to my interest. But the time of exams are tough for us, but the two-month break actually gives us time to soothe the tiredness and actually make us want to come back to campus.
