Remarks

this is a well-known college in Rajkot so for admission in the Computer branch cutoff is ACPC Rank <7000, admission only happens by ACPC online portal. after admission, you can pay fees online or offline mode. there is a reservation for categories EWS, OBC, SC-ST . in this category you need fewer marks to get admission.

Since I was interested in Computer science so I took that branch. per subject 1 faculty is available but for some subjects, there are 2 faculties. all faculties have M.Tech degrees and many of them are also P.hd. there are 3 exams per semester mid sem, pre-gtu, and final. level of exam is moderate.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 372000 per year

Placement Experience

I am in computer branch, in our branch 100% placements. The average package is 3 LPA. and the maximum package is 8-10 LPA. companies like Kevin, tark technologies, inform tech, Tatva-tech, Ysoft solutions, Synoverge, Argusoft, Infosense, and many more. if you have average knowledge of coding then you will easily get placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is 93000 per year. there is an MYSY scholarship for general category students who got more than 80 % in the 12th board. and also for OBC students, Digital Gujrat scholarship is provided by Govt. of Gujrat. in both cases you get half of the college fees as a scholarship. there is no stipend for BTech from college.

Campus Life

The annual fest called ZEAL happens every year in college in April. and also tech fest occurs once or twice per year. the college has a big library and it has all books regarding study and other topics also. the college has a cricket ground, and basketball volleyball ground also. dance, music, literature, sport, and many clubs run by students. Also once a year we have a sports day.

balanced with learning and challenges

Placement Experience:

the placement at vgec at decent, especially considering it is a government college with very low fees. student become eligible for campus placement from the 6 th and the main placement drives begin in the 7 th and 8 th semesters. many well known compnies visit the camppus every tear for software , core engineering and management roles. compnies like TCS, infosys, wipro , taat consultancy, adani, gsfc,and a few stertup hire students from different branches. the number of offers varies every year , but the overall trend is improving . some companies offer multiple job roles such as software engineer , QA engineering , embendede engineering , trainee engineering and analyst position . higher pacage is 5 lacks. after completing my degree , i plan to focus on improving my technical skills .

Decent college with room to grow

Placement Experience:

studemts become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester.The placement acitivity keeps happening throghout the final year.companies like TCS,Tata LTIindtree,wipro and few local startup like tcs and ltimindtree and the avg pakage stays on the lower sidw compared to big private colleges,The opporrinties are there ,but not as many as we expect. the percnatage of stundents getting placed depends a lot on the batch ,but it's definitely not 100%. A good number of students get interships or jobs their own efforts also,beacuse some companies dont visit every year.if a student if genuinely working on skills and projects,they can manage to get something , but the college placements alone might not be enough for evryone. after completing my degree, l plan to work on my technical skills and try for better opportunities throgh of campus options as well.i don't want to depend only on the on capus placements.my goal is to build a good portfolio so i can apply to bigger companies later.

My Life at D.D.I.T
