Entrance Preview

Earlier they used to take admission on basis of IIT JEE rank and also through IMU-CET (Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test). I took up IMU CET exam and got good rank so i choose to be in BP Marine Academy. For B.sc nautical science degree, we get some expemtions in Promotions and also there are lots of scope for degree holders. Along with this criteria there's also a Interview conducted by Director of the Academy, he personally supervises the whole admission process. Presently BP Marine conducts their own entrance test and Interview.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course structure is basically related to Marine field there are lots of Practicals, Ship Visits, Workshops etc conducted regularly. The Faculty is highly qualified mostly the faculty consists of Ship Captains, some retired and some still sailing (who come for guest lectures). So overall Perfect Faculty to teach the subjects as it requires practical knowledge to teach.

There are a lots of sports and extra curricular events. Sports week (Inter academies and also within academy) is organized every year. Quiz and Debate Competitions are also organized. Apart from these BP marine is invited to all the University of Mumbai events which includes cultural week, sports meet, college fests etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is on a bit of higher and its around 2.5 lakhs per annum currently but that includes everything: college fee, hostel fee, Mess, Uniforms, Books, exams fee and all other charges. Hostels are compulsion even if you are a local then also staying in hostel is a compulsion and the hostel is like a Luxury hotel with all amenities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facility is offered by leading banks like SBI, ICICI, Axis bank and admission cell helps in this matter for getting this loans approved. Scholarships of upto 75,000 are available depending on Merit of student and also on financial background of the student.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is very good we always have to be in the uniform provided by them at all times which also includes track suits at off-times. All male candidates are admitted to this course so no females in campus. Lots of practicals are conducted which also includes practicals of fire fighting, medical first aid, survival techniques, lifeboat operations, ship visits etc so Its feels great being part of it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

like i was sure that i want a course that will give me experince about AIML with subjects like 3D design + Coding + Envoirmental studeis and all. and the course from the sandip actually have all these subjects in a single course thats why i choose this course. curriculam was good it was updated on time. the course helps me to land a internship with goverment cause i learn the basics of AI from this course. the ares of improvements should be the faculty members like they are horrible sometimes they dont even make the notes for the subjects they ask students to make notes and shared with other students. even one of the faculty member shared a playlist form youtube for a specific subject and ask us to take notes from it and prepare for exam not a single leccture he takes at that time. the frequency of the exam is also not that good cause the want us to prepare for the final semster exam which is of 6 months in just 3 months with all the paper works , projects , assignments etc etc.

• As I don't have maths so I have choosen this course for medical way for the future educational content and lab work. • They prepare us very good their skills and they approach in the lab practical is so good. • One one improvement as from mine is that they doesn't have some practical equipment and machinery for the working so I would like to have that to get that practical knowledge and for that they teach us theoretical for that kinds of practical. • Average the frequency and time for exam preperation is good

“The BSc CS curriculum is fairly comprehensive and covers core subjects like programming, DBMS, OS, networking and practical labs. It stays relevant for basic IT careers, though updates are slow. Overall it gives a strong foundation but needs more modern industry-oriented topics.”

Course Curriculum Overview:

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.

The course curriculum is very good. The syllabus of the course of relevant and also helps in preparing different entrance exams for masters. Also course offers wide variety of subjects so students can have exposure to different opportunities in the field. There are also field study visits so students can get their real world experience and exposure. The external exams are a little bit hectic as the take it into a streak. There is no gaps between the exams so it is a little hectic. Also some proffessors should provide study materials to students so it will be helpful .

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS

I thought that zoology is most interesting to learn and its have future job opportunity. So basically zoo student are like little dr or zoologist. It provides little bit of that syllabus while learning you feel like you are dr or expert in zoology which example we experience in our day to day life. They need to add more teachers and placement opportunity. After every one and half month there is exam.
