Remarks

for admission in B.tech CE completion of the 12th is mandatory with PCM. Every detail retailed to admission procedure and fees related is given on the website and in the college brochure as well. Everything is good and the smooth admission process is easy to understand.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose CE Engineering because I wanted to be a CIVIL Engg and wanted to with government projects. B.Tech CE is a very good course and is a 4-year professional program. The course structure is updated on regular basis and involves a lot of practicals. The faculty in the college is good and helpful as well as well experienced.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fee Structure of the Program is 40000 per year which is very feasible for the student who wants to do engineering but doesn't have so much amount to enrol. This fee structure is designed for students who are economically not sound. Also, the course will always be in demand as this is related to construction it will never have a recession.

Campus Life

The campus is so big and has playgrounds. Vikrant has a cricket academy also. The campus atmosphere is positive. It's a place where students are challenged to make good decisions and lead in positive ways. There is also a library which has all the course books. Hindi and English newspapers are kept in libraries for the students. For female students, there is a special women's cell club.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.
