Remarks

Overall college is pretty good and the campus is full of joy. No matter who you are. Its upto you to be good and be successful in this college.

Entrance Preview

I didn't took any entrance and its belong to vidyasagar university. I applied for the course and regarding the marks obtained in my 10th and 12th exam i got my course.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course is according to the course provided by the vidyasagar university. There are few extra subject from where you can apply for.

Internships Opportunities

No intership is provided by the college. You have to pull yourself aside and take few more steps towards off-campus and intership.

Placement Experience

2.5

No in-campus placement is there. College will organize few camps for the future job opportunities and including this they will also organize competition regarding other extra curricular activities. I have heard from students those who are passed out students that they got their jobs in out-campus selection.

College Events

5

Festivals like saraswati puja, Ganesh puja etc are done there with huge encouragement. There are competitions based on dancing, singing etc. I went to NSS camp and national integretion camp of youth empowerment in vishakhapatnam and baripada. You can earn huge achievement and success in this type of organized camps.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is available for the lower caste citizen and for the merit students. And only bank will provide educational loan.

Campus Life

3

Campus life is awesome with full of entertainment, learning and competitions. Gender ratio is equal and there are gardens with varieties of flowers. There is a playground for cricket and football. Our college organize dancing and singing competition based on classical, semi classical and modern type.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

There are number of parallel grounded hostels and the hostel fees are affordable ranging from 30k-50k per year the food provided by the mess is good but not the best. There are few hostel staffs and security guards. One of the major problem is hostel seats as its having less number of seats as student number is higher.

Alumni/Alumna

Our seniors are very helpful And they treat us like their own brothers and sisters and few of them are like romeos in the junk yard.

Faculty

4.5

Teachers are awesome there they are well qualified standard is quite good and the faculties are so much into the subjects that is concerned.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.

The students become eligible for placements from the third year itself, the Final year. The details about the placements are not known to other students as such but the packages available are per the market needs. I plan to complete my M.A. after getting my Bachelors' degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always wanted to persue English as a career. I love studying English but not a big fan of the new curriculum by NEP that includes a lot pf irrelevant papers. The semesters are not consistent. Odd semesters usually have a lot of time like 6-8 months but even semesters barely consist of 2-3 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I used to read so many novels from my childhood and that inspired me in getting attracted to this field. We used to have the fecility of having seminar in the end of every month after compleating of each lessons. And this process helped us in true education. After every year professors from differnt parts of the country used to come for a seminer for overall groth of the students. Actually is theory teaching style is followed in the college, according to me some developments in the practical teaching can be used. Semister is held at the end of every six months and the exams are used to be moderate in nature.
