Entrance Preview

I took CET and CAT. The admission is based on cap round process so there was no interview. But there is interview for pgdm courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course is good and it overall helps one to develope confidence and think beyond the average as the course includes fild work and as well as presentations. There are many programmes like AIMA is a competition based on presentation. Students E-Cell in which students are required to convince corporates to visit the college and share their views with the students.

Internships Opportunities

Yes the college do provide internship in corporates. The maximum period for internship is of 60 days. The stipend part is totally depending on individual companies.Like i received rs 6000 for 60days for my internship and other friend of mine recieved ra24000. And few of them did not receive even a penny.

Placement Experience

2.5

As i am current student the placement just started a week ago and 6 of 120 students are already placed. There are good companies approching like godrej fmcg , zycus , golds gym , naukri.com.And even more are expected to visit the campus soon. The cmc ( career management center ) is very hard working.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is almost the cheapest when compared to the same rated college like thakur and met. The fee for 1 year is 174000. So it appropriately sums up to 3L 48k for both the year and this fee includes everything like tution fee , industrial visits , exam fee and etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

No there is no scholarship and loan facility offered by the college. The fee is to be paid in cash or by ddYes one can convince the college fee department that they would pay the fees in installments .

Campus Life

3

The campus life is good in atharva has pleasant environment due to the garden and trees outside and inside the college. Gender ratio is also almost equal Cricket is the sport played in atharva Tech fest for engineering Fashion show as indian princess for fashion designing.

Exam Structure

The exams are frequent and there are many presentations to be done. There are very less lab activities. We have to write 2 subject papers in a day and that really becomes very tiring and hectic and this totally affects the perfomance of the students and there is no study leave.

Faculty

3

Faculty are good and most of them have very good experience in the corporate and hence it feels good to be present in their lectures. Faculty encourage students to participate in competitions.Help in presentations. There are few visiting faculties too who come for special and guest lectures.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

The companies like IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Property pistol, Godrej Capital are available for placements. The highest paid package is 9.75 for sales and marketing. Till now( 3rd semester) 60% to 70% students are placed. There are more opportunities for sales and marketing as compared to other fields.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.
