Remarks

I had applied for MET, Bandra, Thakur TIMSR and Atharva Institute, Malad. I had cleared the GD & PI at all 3 colleges., but I preferred to take admission in Atharva. As the reviews of Atharva alumni students were very good. They had got good jobs and they advised me to take up Atharva. The admission criteria in Atharva was according to your CET score, GD score and PI score.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose Atharva for its good reputation. Also after joining I could say the same. The faculty members were very efficient and had good corporate experience. We had case study work, assignments and presentations. Faculty qualification was MBA, PHD. we had two terms (Semester pattern). The passing is 50%.

Internships Opportunities

5

100% summer internships were given. Nestle, Amul, HUL, Citi bank, P&G, KPMG, CRISIL, Indiabulls, Motilal Oswal, Decathlon, Tata Trent, Mahindra & Mahindra, Aditya Birla grp, HDFC, Godrej, Insync analytics. stipend was arnf 10k to 15k. WE had to make the summer project/ black book and present it at the start of the 3rd semester.

Placement Experience

4.5

Your final recruitment will start from the start of your third semester. You are eligible to join the company after the sem 3 exams. During my batch approx 250 companies visited the campus for all 5 specializations. The highest package was 14.5L and the average was 6.5L-7L. 95% of placements were done in college. I had joined Amul as I wanted the FMCG industry.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee was 4.10p.a. inclusive Internation Industry visit, 2 National visits and 6 certifications programs. The cost of the study was justifying. As the certification programs like Advance Excel, SAP, foreign languages, Mock Stock trading were really helpful to make corporate ready. Also, the fees of neighbouring institutes were too high.

Campus Life

5

The name of the annual festival is Rhythm. The rhythm is the annual event of the Atharva Group of institutes and the inter college event includes curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular events. The Campus of Atharva college is green eco-friendly. Very beautiful campus equipped with high technology seminar halls, classrooms, library etc. Also, the college has a very beautiful auditorium. Alumni clubs are there were all passed out students can be a member of. HR, marketing, finance, Operations and IT clubs are run by students.

Interview Experience

4.5

There was GD and PI conducted by the institute of 20 marks each. The GD topics were too generic all about current affairs. The GD and PI was all abt your interpersonal skills, communications and knowledge.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after completing 2nd semester and entering in 3rd semester. Attendance is compulsory for getting the opportunity for placements. The companies like IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Property pistol, Godrej Capital are available for placements. The highest paid package is 9.75 for sales and marketing. Till now( 3rd semester) 60% to 70% students are placed. There are more opportunities for sales and marketing as compared to other fields.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.
