Review on Woxsen University [ School of Business ]

I got into this college through the NMAT, and you can also get into Woxsen University by applying for the Woxsen aptitude test. After clearing the basic criteria you then have to give a psychometric test and a personal interview.

Students are groomed from day one in this institute, as 60% of the weightage is based on their performance throughout the semester and 40% on their end semester performance. Faculty are supportive and always encourage students in every aspect such as competitions, research works, etc., Here at Woxsen we have a tri-semester curriculum.

We have many companies that offer internships for students of Woxsen University. Based on the interest of the student we can choose for which company we can apply [ based on the specialization we chose].

For placements, we have a placecom group who work solely work to bring students the best placements along with that students are groomed right from the first on how to work on their resumes and build them. We have mock GDs and PIs every now and then.

The actual fee structure for the academic year 2021-2023 is 16,90,000. The fee is divided into tuition fee and hostel fee. But as the college provides merit scholarships, I secured a 50% scholarship. Fees may vary with the change in the academic year.

Here at Woxsen, we have spacious classrooms and a library which we can access till midnight. Other than academics we have different clubs to participate in, such as Marketing club, HRM club, Finance club, Communication club, etc., We also have Trade Tower which is a start-up incubator. Along with these, we have a sports complex for all sorts of sports.

We have both AC and Non-AC rooms with attached washrooms. We have the facility of 24/7 drinking water (hot, cold, and ambient]. Each room is provided with a chair and study table per person. Oval is a place where we all have breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a variety of dishes.

I cleared my basic criteria based on the NMAT score and then faced PI. During PI questions related to my past experiences, what I am expecting from this course, and why I chose this course are covered. Panel members also gave an overview of the college and the student exchange programme.
