Remarks

Any 12 pass student can apply for admission. The admission form is available on the college website. The entrance exam is conducted in online mode through a remote proctored online entrance exam. Students have to go to the preferred centre for examination.

Course Curriculum Overview

All faculty members are PhD and very supportive. Exams are taken semester wise. I choose E& TC because it has both electronics and knowledge of IT department also. Labs are well equipped with the latest equipment.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 1,20,000 in the year 2020 and my juniors paid 1, 60,000 in 2021 which is quite affordable nowadays as compared to other engineering colleges in India. Scholarships are provided by the college through Internshala which is in collaboration with the college.

Campus Life

The annual fest which is BHARTIYAM is held in the months of October and November every year. Each college participates in the fest. All course books are available in the library. We have ground in the campus which has all games courts.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
