Remarks

Admission in this college is done only through entrance test which is Delhi University Entrance Test which is conducted by NTA, admission can be done only after getting good marks because it is a government college so cutoff is also high in it on an average under 150 rank is enough for admission as unreserved category and the rest of the reserved category has little less than general.

The curriculum of this college is very good, medical subjects are taught in the first year, which makes our basics and core subjects are started from the second year, here the faculty is one of the best faculty, all the faculty have studied from reputed institution and they are also of very supportive nature

There is no dearth of Internship in the college, Because,In our course after the Final year we have 6 month compulsory rotatory internship in hospitals. So, As a central government college this give us internship opportunity in various leading government hospitals sometimes private hospitals but those are also very renowned.

Here the average fee for the first year is ? 52,525 and from the second year onwards it is ? 27,410.However, this is a central government college So, central scholarship is applied here through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

Our college is not that big, so sports is negligible, whatever sports are fed, they are fed in some other ground and fest is not happening in our college.Our library is also not big but it's have enough books which requires during our various academic years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum initially provides all the theoretical and practical knowledge side by side. As in first year classes are held in University college of medical science so practical we got demonstration of human anatomy on cadavers . And the subsequent 2nd, 3rd and 4th year classes are held in Amar Jyoti as the syllabus of these years provide you proper insights of your field Side by side in 3rd and 4th year we do clinical postings in different hospitals and in Amar Jyoti where we see real world applications i.e. hands on patients under the guidance of senior physiotherapist who are our professors also. First year is quite tough compare with other years as overall syllabus is just same as of MBBS . Areas of improvement - should be in syllabus I think as in first year we were somewhat clueless about our real role in PT as there were no PT specific subjects .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Syllabus or course curriculum includes everything you should know as a good physiotherapist. Faculty teach you theoretical aspect of every condition or procedures, after the completion of theoretical classes there are practical classes to strengthen and increase knowledge about that particular topic or technique or procedure. Also college includes clinical postings for 1 year. 6 month in 3rd year and next 6 month in 4th year of course in which they send you to different hospital opds and ipds to see different conditions and learn new techniques to treat patients effectively. So overall curricular activities prepare you in very good and effective manner to treat the patients of different conditions

Placement Experience:

Student's become eligible from 4th year only for the campus placements. It's not the companies or the hospitals that visits for placement it's the NGO's and all that comes and provide basic salaries to students. Highest packages can go upto - 1200000 per annum or average to 400000 per annum. 70-80% students get's placements and other starts there home visits or own clinic. My plans is to work for 2 year in any hospital in india and then move to dubai for future opportunities.

Paramedical field. Boon or bane?

If you want to pursue this course you have to be from a science background and should have completed your schooling with any Board of Education. The exam which enrolls you to this college is CET examination which is held every year. Reservations are provided to SC ST and OBC minority also regional and below poverty line people are also benefited. The difficulty of this exam is moderate. Not many people know about the CET examination so I think they should campaign to spread awareness regarding the exam. Eligibility is just pcb in 12th with 50% above marks. And the application form, fees and dates are all available on the PDUNIPPD official website. Exam is held once every year by the name CET( common entrance test). Exam is a multiple choice questions-based exam in which there's no negative marking and apart from physics chemistry and biology, 20 questions of general knowledge also come in the exam.
