The student who have passed their class 12th exam irrespective of their boards can apply for different engineering program of this college. All the details regarding the admission procedure are available in the college website bvucoep.edu.in.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to pursue my career in this vivid field of ENTC. There are 120 students studying 5 subjects taught by a professor each. Every professor has a doctorate in their respective field. Exams are conducted every semester and are moderately difficult.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

Students of this college are eligible for campus placement as soon as they complete their sixth semester and enter the seventh semester of their program. There are enough companies that 70 percent of the students get placed every year with an average package of 5-5.5 lacs.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid as of 2020, 120000 for the first year. My junior paid 160000 for their first year. The fees hike was quite affordable for me. All students of this college are eligible for scholarships offered by the government of India.

Campus Life

The annual fest is held in the month of October or November every year that includes various cultural and sports events. Books of various subjects can be issued from the library. Teachers of this college provide notes after completion of their respective courses.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards. Some of the companies that vist or college include : Capgemini, Wipro , tcs , Hexware and other private firms. However the number of students placed on canpus is low because most student focus on M.Tech or higher studies rather than placements. Highest on - campus package - around 5 LPA Highest off - campus package - around 8-9 LPA Average Package - Approximately 5 LPA Profiles - Software development roles and IT related positions Only about 10% of students get placed through on - campus recruitment due to the preference for higher studies My plan is try for off - campus opportunity, as the on-campus options are limited and the majority of students prefer pursuing M.Tech

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. Honest Review on VIT, Pune

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 4th year onwards and intership + PPO offers from 3rd year itself. The highest package offered was 38.5 LPA by the company GoDaddy, following by Nvidia with 30LPA. Every year 75-80% of the students get placed, including both on and off campus leaving the rest 20% opt for higher studies. Im currently unplaced and the college is still helping me out. After getting the degree I have decied to do job for 2-3 years and then opt for masters degree overseas.

What one should know before taking admission in Government College of Engineering Nagpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect for me choosing my course is analysing what the future have more demand of like 10 to 15 years next thinking about it and choosing the field. The curriculum for our batch is like updated because from the next match that is our juniors they have new education policy 2020 but we don't have this policy so we are updated and we are just learning things that are fathers have learnt which is basically not good for students like us because in this world we are advance in artificial intelligence and this should be aspect of importance.
