Remarks

There was an entrance exam that had zero points since the majority of the people who attended the exam did not appear for the counselling and I was ranked 2800+ and somehow got ECE course admission. The college got desperate and bottled the idea of rank-based admission and went on to give the admission for the people who were able to pay the fees since only a few people began to show up. The college admission fee was 50k back then in 2019 and for the whole 4 years, you got to spend 12L excluding the travel expenses for your college which in my experience is not worth it.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

B.Tech. ECE - There won't be any actual classroom for 4 straight years but instead you get to choose your own faculties from the 2nd year. So of the course, students would prefer leniency over quality and you would have to switch between classes every hour depending on the faculty that you have opted for. You have 3 internals+1 improvement exams and the best of 2 is taken for the GPA calculation and a final semester exam. If you have arrears then your exam timings will get very complicated.

Placement Experience

2

Only during the 7th and the 8th semester do you become eligible for the placement which you have to pay some amount for the attending companies and placement training. The placement cell is poorly managed. Accenture, Wipro, IBM, Byjus, TCS, TataElxsi, Amazon, Texas instruments, Zoho are a few of the companies which visited. Accenture is the only big bang recruiter while the rest recruit only a handful of candidates with impressive technical skills. So if you miss out on Accenture, you got to accept your fate and try off-campus or develop your technical skills and attend the interviews hoping for the best. The average salary is 2L to 2.5L per annum with few in the list of companies offering non-technical job roles. The majority of the student from our batch did not get placed on the campus instead they tried off-campus and opted for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

We pay a huge amount of money and of course, the infrastructure needs to be good and well maintained, it does not disappoint on that. The placement opportunities are very average since the companies only hire a handful of candidates except for Accenture who is a big bang recruiter for this college. If you miss that then you got to try out of campus or gain more technical skills and appear for the interviews. They ask you to pay some amount in the name of placement training or attending interviews for some reason that is some hidden charges which they don't mention. Also, they charge EXTRA AMENITIES FEES every semester which nobody had a clue about.

Campus Life

0.5

The college is all about worship 24x7. The management believes that the talent had been gifted to you and the favour should be returned through worshipping 24x7. The number of fees that you are paying, the inter/intracultural events and extracurricular activities are expected to be there but the management would allow it only if it is conducted in a spiritual manner. In terms of Sport, it is well maintained. The only option you get, to showcase your talent is through worship and only that is valued there. The management does not provide a secular atmosphere, especially for the number of fees we are asked to pay which is definitely ridiculous and not worth it. Even our farewell was another worship which was disappointing to most of the people. Since there isn't a permanent classroom as per the system you usually don't get the choice of emotionally bonding with your classmates. You can only pretend that since you are paying a lot.

Hostel Facilities

5

You pay a lot and it is expected to provide quality food with a lot of varieties, accommodations and other facilities and it does not disappoint. But it is not affordable and it is way expensive. In each room, you get an individual chair, study table, cupboard and a bed. The only thing that is worth mentioning is the hostel life since you get to choose your roommates from the 2nd year and develop an emotional bond with them.
