Remarks

All 12th pass students are eligible for an application form, and the form is available on the college website. Application fees are less than 2000. One can reserve their seat before the exam so as to confirm their seat in college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose electronics and telecommunication because I have a keen interest in electronics. Faculty members are very interactive and supportive, and all are PHD, exams are done on a semester basis and it's moderately difficult.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees don't hike instantly but as of now after 3 years fees is increased by 40000 for all course. Internshala provides internships as it is in collaboration with our college. Stipend internships are also provided from the 3rd year.

Campus Life

Bharatium is an annual fest and is conducted in the months of October and November and every college in our university is part of it. We have social groups like NSS, LEO CLUB, T&P CLUB, ETSA CLUB and many others.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
