Remarks

All students who have passed class 12 can fill out the application form which is available on the college website bvucoep.edu.in for 1800 only which is very affordable. You can also reserved you seat in college by paying the amount of the fee before the entrance exam. The entrance exam is done on an online basis.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are 120 students in each course and we have 8 courses in our college. All faculty members are Ph.D. and very supportive. Exams are done after each semester, there are 8 semesters in total. Exams are moderately difficult. If you study well you can easily pass the exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

When I took admission the fee was 1,20,000 per annum which will be the same for consecutive four years and now it's 1,60,000 which is also affordable as compared to other engineering colleges in India. Scholarships are also available.

Campus Life

Bharatim is an annual fest that is held every year in the months of October and November. All the course books are available in the library. Our laboratory is well equipped with the latest equipment. We have all the sports facilities on the campus itself.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
