Glimpse of MSG-SGKM College of Arts,Science and Commerce

So basically there is no need for any entrance exam for this course you only need to have cleared the 12th standard but the cutoff of this college was 60% so you need to achieve above that. I had got all admission-related forms, dates on their college official websites and college professors' staff helped to me to fill it. There are some reservation quotas but I didn't avail I would like to have processed on a specific college app so it will be easy for all to get the admission process smooth.

I choose this course because I was very much interested in commerce, capital markets, financial analysis,accounting methods,auditing and also used to see various auditing reports. Our faculties are very good at explaining the concepts many of them hold a B.ed degree,PHD degree and many have years of experience in teaching. Our exams are the internals of 25 marks and semester of 75 marks which held in Nov and April. And exams are a little bit difficult but if you prepare well it would be easy for you.

I got the Internship at a firm called equity rights in which I was supposed to assist an analyst with all data collection work and using mainly excel then so it was an overall good experience I also got to corporate etiquette and learned how to talk with colleges, seniors and with clients. So overall a good experience for me.

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placement, mainly campus placement takes place before the 6th-semester examination. Many companies from every department field offer placements in our college. Companies like TCS, Kotak Mahindra, etc. Offers jobs for students. Students are eligible for placements from the final year of their degree. The students are trained in a way for industry-ready. The highest salary package provided from a company is 5.5 LPA and average salary package provided from a company is 3 LPA. Auditor, data research accountant, cost accountant,etc these profile are offered by the company. A student must require at least 60% to get a placements. I have decided that i want to purse MBA in Finance or i can do CA after completion of BAF

We have all-inclusive fees and it has various fees components such as classroom fees, tuition fees, laboratory fees, maintenance fees, IT fees, Library fees, ID card fees, etc. I haven't got any scholarship but our college provides 100% scholarships for students who have orphaned due to covid-19, it also provides scholarships for students who are facing a financial problems and good at academics can avail themselves of it. I am looking forward to a campus placement which will be announced by the college soon.

Our college's has fest called Prarambh is an inter-collegiate fest organized annually which gives a platform to all students to unleash their talents and creativity. It is a two-day fest filled with performing events, fine art events, mind games, and indoor sports activities. The Prarambh is conducted in December or in january month. We have a good range of books and newspapers in our library we go at every Saturday to read magazines and our classrooms are well ventilated with huge windows. In our college, there are a lot of sports and students participate in intercollegiate competitions and state-level competitions as well. We have a cultural forum, public speaking club, NSS for social activities, etc which are run by students for the students
