Remarks

Any 12th pass student can appear for the entrance in this course of this college eligibility, the application fees and application dates are available on the official site bvucoep.edu.in. The only improvement that can be made is that the admission process should quicker and smoother.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to pursue my career in this vivid field of ENTC. There are 120 students studying 5 subjects taught by a professor each. Every professor has a doctorate in their respective field. Exams are conducted every semester and moderately difficult.

Internships Opportunities

Students get intership opportunities as soon as they complete second year and enter third year. Students also get paid for being an intern in some companies. However, there are also some unpaid intership provided by our college.

Placement Experience

Students of this college are eligible for campus placement as soon as they complete six semester. There are enough companies that 70 percent of students are placed. The average package offered by the companies is 5.5 - 6 lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid, as of 2020, 120000 for the first year. My junior paid 160000 for his first year. The fees hike was quite affordable for me. All the students of this college are eligible for scholarships provided by the government of India.

Campus Life

The annual fest is held in the month of October or November every year that includes various cultural programs. Books on the different subjects are available in any book store. If you can not afford it, those books are also available in the library that can be issued. Furthermore, the professors provide e-books and notes on their subjects.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs.
