Entrance Preview

Local Karnataka entrance test, so it use to be for 1000 marks and good score means getting in to good college and if got marks above 90 % means almost job garentee college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was very good we learnt latest computer language at that time like cobal, fotron and c etc, in electronics we learnt lot of circuit making and soldering of of boards.

College Events

Participated in Youth festival every year with out fail which use to be held at university, lot of tough competition for singing, dancing etc, even took part in college functions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was very cheap, per quarter it was Rs. 3000 and extra for books and sports all together it used to come to Rs.4000, compared to now a days fess its norhing.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes from lot of trusts we used to get scholarship, they use to take care of Free for entire year and even help is to get good books which used to get extra knowlwdge.

Exam Structure

It use to be very good, objective type questions for 35 marks, and 65 marks for detailed writing and 50 marks for practicle.

At St Aloysius University, students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onward. Reputed companies like Infosys, wipro, TCS etc have visited the campus offering multiple roles in IT services, research and analytics. My honest review: College life, curriculum and career preparation

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it around 8/10 for relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it offered solid foundational subjects that aligned with my interests. The curriculum prepares students well for higher studies and provides decent exposure to lab techniques. However, for real world readiness, it could be improved. Teaching methods are mostly theory-heavy and would benefit from interactive approaches. Exams are moderately difficult and conceptual clarity and regular revision helps in scoring well.

Placement Experience:

Students in their fifth and sixth semesters are eligible for the campus placement cell. Only 50 -60% of students get campus placement offers. I would get into post-grad courses like an MSc in physics.

We will be ready for placements from the 5th semester as we will be given training on interview skills in the 5th semester. There are many companies that visit colleges like PN Rao, Reliance, Tailorman, etc. There are good different profiles offered like merchandising, designing, retail with different packages offered from different companies. There is 100% placements assured from college also we get more options for interviews and companies. I got placed from college in Tommy Hilfiger after my degree.

Remarks:

Positive : Great university experience. Placements, infrastructure, pleasant environment, full security 24×7, no ragging, no politics. Negative: little bit congested area with only 46 acres of land. Bsc faculty members average teaching.
