Remarks

College is good for a student who doesn't need anything expect his academic career. Higher level management is not good and for few students it may create a problem.

Entrance Preview

Through Anna university single window counselling i joined the college (Based on the scores of my 12th standard matriculation board). Either through counselling or through management seats & sports quota you can get a seat in any of the colleges affiliated to anna university.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course content is good. Almost every subjects are covered in four years program. It was nice build to future research as well as job prospect. Lab were very good. Infrastructure was good. Faculty were very much interested to teach you new things. No problem in this criteria.

Placement Experience

3

Placement is good. TCS, HCL, WIPRO & FEW OTHERS. Most of the recruitment is IT related companies and chances are minimum for few other departments to get placed. Honestly speaking comparing few colleges this college is good in terms of placement. The average offer will be 3,60,000 INR per annum.

College Events

0.5

There are three major exams before each university exam and that is sufficient for the students to score good marks. Labs are equipped with good facilities and its frequent. There is no disappointment with exams and labs. It will be interesting for a student in lab to implement own idea and technical knowledge gathered so far.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite expensive. Its varies based on seat criteria. For a student who got admitted through his academic marks and cut off marks scored in 12th standard examination the fee is around 40,000 rupees per annum. For the student who joined through other quota the standard fee is 62,500 rupees per annum. This fee structure is set by Anna university.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are available in this college. Even though i had not availed but I am sure as i have seen my friends who got that facility.

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life for most of the students was like a Jail as the college had implemented several rules & regulations. Boys & Girls were not allowed to communicate with each other. There is no importance for extracurricular activities, sports and competitions also not encouraged.

Hostel Facilities

4

I spent my 3 years of college life in hostel. For the first year the hostel room is not upto the level. Its very small and sharing accommodation with common bathroom & toilet. But from second year hostel accomodation facilities are good with attached bathroom and comforts.Food is good. Hostel quality is good and the fees are obtained for room & mess annually. The fee structure was as follows :1st year (2008-2009)- 33,000 rupees(2009 -2010)- 35,000 rupees(2010-2011) 38,000 rupees(2011-2012) 45,000 rupees

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network & senior students are co-operative as they know about the struggle & hurdles faced by a student in this institution. So they support juniors a lot in every way possible.

Exam Structure

No technical, cultural & management celebrations are celebrated in this college. Apart from academics other things (even sports) are not considered important. This should be changed as a overall experience and co-curricular activities are needed for the student in college life.

Faculty

4.5

My department staff was good. College management is not well established. Few staffs are also inexperienced. Standards are not upto the mark. Staffs co-operate with students a lot but they too get cornered by the management at times.
