Eligibility: The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in physical education with 50% marks and should be physically fit. The application or registration fee is 400 includes prospects of the college and application form with 3 photocopies Generally, the admission process starts in October with physical trials If any candidate is below Poverty level he has around 33% discount in examination form 2350 rather than general candidate 3500. M.P.Ed is a master's degree program in physical education and is important for the post of lecturer that's the reason I have chosen this course. Most of the faculty members have pursued masters and MPhil and PhD in physical education. Well qualified and cooperative probably DR RAJ KUMAR who is currently HOD of the physical education department and Dr jatinder. We are 50 students only as per UGC policies for the master's course. Exams are conducted on June to Jan session if not disturbed by covid 19. Exams are scheduled by panjab university chandigarh as this college is affiliated with PUCHD

Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur is affiliated with Panjab University Chandigarh and has a fee structure of 52500 for the course of M.P.Ed with extra 6000 pu charges and Uniform fee is 2500 which has to be paid in 2 instalments. Panjab University Chandigarh provides scholarships to students on the basis of previous academic performance. Candidate has to pay fee in 2 installments ie 10000 and 20000 for the semester expect mess and hostel.

College celebrates every physical, as well as a national festival like National Sports Day, Annual day, Holi, Diwali, Annual youth, meet, New year's eve, National science day. The college has a minor library for students and magazines available for news and information. Classrooms are well ventilated with fresh air as college is likely far from the main market. Sports Activities Intramural and extramural activities are performed every year, Football tournament, Volleyball cup Kabaddi, Weight lifting.

Rooms are well furnished with tiles a fan study table and a chair. Meal quality is good there is a canteen nearby and very well market outside college everything is available as per needs of the student. Registration is done with registration of college but the fee for hostel and mess is very high it should be below 30000. There is a very highly maintained and developed locality outside shgskcm. Students can easily rent PG and room outside the college. As college is located in the middle of the market and society. Outside facilities are highly recommend and affordable.
