The college organizes numerous workshops, seminars, and conferences throughout the year. Many intercollege matches are organized throughout the year. Our management motivates the students to actively participate in at least one sport, as it will contribute to the overall development of a person.

The Physical Education course was a mixture of both practical sessions and classroom learning. We had all the sports gear which someone needs to know about to become a successful sports trainer.

Most of the placements are in the teaching line. The college also helps the students to be industry trained. There was a separate cell for interview training, although it was rarely used. But they would help someone who had any query or problem.

I did my B.P.Ed. from the SGGS college, and it is a great college for pursuing the UG course. I have a very personal attachment to this place because I had completed my studies from here only and started my sports career. Now I am a physical educationist and I have a great profession. The college literally shaped my career.

Fee for my one year course was around 50,000 INR which was at par with other colleges, offering this course. But to be honest there aren’t many colleges offering B.P.Ed. program and at least not at this fee.

Yes, our college offered many scholarships to students from the economically weaker section. The students can also avail of many sports scholarships by clearing the respective eligibility.

The time spent there were the golden moments of my life. The campus was filled with greenery with overall good infrastructure. The faculty would maintain nice and healthy relationships with the students.

The admission is direct. For a UG program, a student must have cleared the class 12 exam with at least 50% marks. The admission process is quite straightforward.
