Remarks

The college gave a lot of emphasis on the sports activities, especially football. We had huge football grounds and a talented football team which won many awards in the intercollege competition

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The syllabus was good and covered most of the topics in detail. There were very few practical sessions. The labs are good and have many equipments which were essential for our course. The seniors usually helped us with the notes. They were sufficient for scoring good in the exams.

College Events

4

I have to say that this college is awesome. You might realize it now, but you will realize it I would recommend SGGS Khalsa College to everyone. The infrastructure, facilities, hostel, classrooms, arts and sports events everything is mind blowing. No words to explain. Days spent in the Khalsa college were the best.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My entire three year course was done in less than 70 thousands. There are minimal additional charges, such as examination fee, enrollment fee, etc

Fees and Financial Aid

Many sports scholarships are awarded annually to students who excel in their individual sport. Our college also provided grants to the students from reserved categories like scheduled castes, other backward class, etc. which was pointless. They could have used that scholarship in other areas.

Campus Life

3

We celebrated many events like sports day, teachers day and women’s day. Cultural dance and many other entertaining activities were part of these celebrations. The cafeteria and the tea stalls are the main center of the hangout.

Admission

The admission is on the basis of class 12 marks. You have to present all the relevant documents at the time of interview.

Faculty

3.5

Some of the faculty members very bias towards some of the students. The students have to plead to the teachers for the attendance, even if the students were absent from class with respective permissions. The quality of teaching was good.

But i saw a chart of the placement being offered to previous batch studens higest placement was 11 lakh per annum, and lowest was 4 lak per annum For ore placements u have to work hard and score a good CGPA to be eligible for placements. Students get less placements here After completing my degree i plan to learn some soft or tchnical skills that will be helpful for me in future

Course Curriculum Overview:

Firstly every course have different fee structure. As my course is BCOM so i think if you need to make some higher knowledge of commerce you should go for it because it can help you to make your overall basic knowledge good even if you don't related to commerce stream in 11th or 12th. the way of teaching in the collage is good but still some of the teachers don't have interest to teach their student in the better way. exam system in the collage is good and its difficuly level is moderate also its depend on the subject and point of view of the students

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for enrollment into campus placements in the 2nd semester . We have been enrolled into placement classess and we will be graduating in 2023. According to the stats we have around 800+companies for placements and avg pacakge offered is 5LPA. Currently, I am not into placement so talking about the top placements and the ratio of placements will be biased. But we have been provided with top notch facilities to help develop skills and crack interview. Top recruiters - delloit, kpmg, JpMorgan etc. short internships were provided to students in their first year and with ending of 2nd year we will be doing a full force internship.
