Remarks

Yeah college management is quite doing their job but they must have to look around the college as what all is happening around.

Entrance Preview

I have written COMEDK and scored 17684 rank and i choosed this college because the college which i was looking for i didn't get with my rank and i was totally new to bangalore so just i opted it.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course curriculum is given by vtu. it mainly focuses on the theoritical part rather than pratical part.course structure is very good if someone wants to go for higher studies as it provides very deep insight through the subject. Since in industries we are not using what we are learning here so, yes quite boring to learn these subject.

Internships Opportunities

I haven't seen like any companies visited out campus to recruit student for intership till now, since college strictly follows all vtu norms, so, even if some get internship they won't allow them to pursue.

Placement Experience

2

Placements isn't up to the mark as what we expect before entering to any engineering college, during 7th semester our HR had brought some good companies but after that no companies, tech mahindra with 3.07 l,l&t infotech with 3.00 l, igate with 3.15Lvery few student got placed in these companies.

College Events

1.5

In our college each department have their own departmental fest, we have PIXEL for cse, INFONIX for ise SPARK AURA for EEE, ELECTRONICA for ece. and we do have our collge fest that is VISMAY they all are celebrated once in a year and ofcoure event are quite awesome.

Fee Structure And Facilities

fee structure for comedk 1.61 L for 1 year cse fee structure for cet 59k for 1 year cse it is quite expensive for the non- karnataka student.

Fees and Financial Aid

They don't provide any scholarship

Campus Life

4

Gender ratio is quite good it is almost equal (men and women), campus life is not so well since all the time we forced to attend the class or lecture no competitions as robotics, debates, there is no cultural clubwhat they say they never do

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel fees is quite costly. 3 beds sharing rooms, room is not as i was looking for mess food is quite good but management are not playing their role here they never listen to student they prepare food as per their choice.

Alumni/Alumna

ofcourse senior plays a vital role in student life as they always guide us towards our future. We have good contact with them, and also management people also very keen to make our introduction to them.

Exam Structure

As per vtu rules, we have 2 labs once in a week, so i can't say that it is hectic but WE have to attend 7 hours of lecture twice in a week this is really a very hectic schedule for the student.

Faculty

4

Almost all the faculty had completed their masters so ofcourse they are well qualified to teach an undergraduate student. faculty are seems to be very helpful. they always keen to help student not only in academics but also in personal life too. Mostly my all batchmates are doing their project with the help of faculty.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
