Entrance Preview

AIEEE got me through to this college. I don't remember my exact score and my rank was around 4000.I opted for this college because it was placed quite high on the rankings.

Course Curriculum Overview

Beginning would be somewhat hectic afterwards it's completely chilled out. Maintaining attendance can be a issue sometimes.Great festivals and other activities fill up the year.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are good provided you have worked on your profile. Many companies with diverse fields visit campus for internships. General stipend offered is around 30k-50k.

Placement Experience

Nit Trichy is well known for its placements. Almost everyone gets placed unless you have so many back logs. Placements and the final year is a whole different experience. Avg salary is around 6 lakhs excluding CSC. In case of CSC, avg would be around 10-12 lakhs. No. Of companies are often more than the no. of students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible and the college offers many opportunities to get scholarships as well. Semester fees is around 21k and hostel and Mess fees is around 18 K Pre sem.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarships and mainly based on merits. Govt. Of India provides certain scholarships and some are provided by the college itself.

Campus Life

Everything what is mentioned in the question are existing in the college. Very diverse crowd.And great competition in every field. Robotics club is collaborated with Texas instruments.

Alumni/Alumna

There are some groups and portals for alumni contacts. Also college keeps on inviting allumnis back to the college as a source of inspiration for new buds.

Exam Structure

Each year is divided into two semesters. Each semester have one major exam and two rounds of cylcle tests in between. Exam gets over really fast and level of questions is also very good.Labs will be twice a week.

Faculty is really talented and experienced. Some teachers are strict but then that is the case with every college out there.Great teachers, many of them being very friendly and helpful.This is itself a great experience.

The course curriculum was good. I would suggest to add indept concepts of vlsi like verilog, sv, uvm. The defficulty of the exams was medium but semester is a bit tougher if the students follow all the class he can manage it

An Amazing Lookback of College Days

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well designed and covered both fundamental and advanced concepts. We choose elective papers each sem one paper from third sem. That selection of elective papers made us to do case study of real world exposure and competency. The curriculum prepared us for the reasonable real world applications. Also workshops and internships bridged the gap between industry expectations and academics. The teaching methods are really supportive and knowledgeable. On the whole the curriculum was strong and but needs to be imapctful.

NIT Trichy In A Nutshell

I personally am from Maharashtra so for VNIT Nagpur I Would Have Got ECE(HS) But Is Prefered this college for its national importance and name....i Even was getting top maharashtra colleges from MHTCET.....I wasnt Able To Clear The Criteria In JEE Advanced to Get Into IITs And Hence Couldnt Go There....The 2nd paper went terribly wrong for me but now i am happy....We have the match the required criteria in jee mains to get this clg....also 75% in boards is inportant for Gen and OBC and For SC ST it is 65%....Then Go Through a very very long admission process named JOSAA then CSAB(if you want to upgrade your seat) Then Pay The Fees And Report Physically...Read More
