AIEEE. NIT Trichy was a very highly reputed college and had better rankings over many IIT's . That's why i preferred NIT Trichy. Selection was based on AIEEE ranks.
Course Curriculum Overview
There was a lot of encouragement for research in electives like VLSI, microwave. The professors were really supporting and many research papers were also published from our batch. We had labs with good facilities and Mtechs to assist students interested in research. Projects were given to interested students during holidays.
Internships Opportunities
Internship is optional but lot of companies do offer on-campus internships. Facebook-1.5 Lakhs, Credit Suisse-30000, Goldman Sachs-30000, ITC-75000, P&G-75000, Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments.
Placement Experience
There was 100% placements with an average package of 5.2 lakhs, computer science department had an average package of 9.2 Lakhs per Annum. 200+ companies visited the campusHighest Package. Facebook (International)- 70000 dollars, GoldmanSachs India (28 Lakhs).
College Events
Festember is one of the biggest cultural fests with footfall of 10000+. Pragyan - Mangaement Fest- ISO certified- 7000+ participants from India, China, USA, Singapore and Japan.
Fee Structure And Facilities
17500 per semester which was easily affordable. Mess Fees-15000 per semester It was feasible and there were many scholarship opportunities as well.

Alumini Networks are really helpful in conducting fests. They help in sponsorship and also guide the juniors regarding operational feasibility.
Faculty
Most of the faculty who taught were very knowledgeable and were also visiting professors in foreign universities. But still there can be a scope of improvement while recruiting faculties with lesser experience. The college had professors, associate professors and assistant professors. Most of te professors were highly qualified.
