Deepesh Kumar Yadav's Review On Birla Institute Of Technology - [BIT], Allahabad

Overall I feel this is above average college. I learned lots of things from this college in my courses and makes some best friends in my life. Some faculties whom I miss lots since they help in my entire academics. Just one bad thing that student have to go Ranchi for placement, which I feel bad for this college. I wish in future they might arrange something good for their students for placement.

I given UPTU entrance test in which I got 66345 general rank. I selected BCA because I have interest in computer software and application. I submitted application form for this college and they call candidate on the basis of 12th marks and I got selected in first list and got admission.

Courses of BCA, BBA, MCA MBA are available and b.tech in CS are also available. Overall for this courses this college is best. Around 30 faculty are available for this courses and all are best in there area of interest. Labs consist latest computer and networks are available over the campus.

Since this college is branch of Birla institute of technology Ranchi. So the student from this college have to go there for an placement recruitment . In BIT Ranchi lots of companies come for recruiting whole year. Students from Naini also attend the recruitment process and some of them also got placed in top companies like IBM, Cognizant etc with a package of 5-6 lakh per annum. Previous year in 2014 TCS also came for recruiting. For MBA companies like BHEL and other companies also came.

As i earlier said, Since this college is branch of Birla institute of technology Ranchi. So the student from this college have to go there for an placement recruitment . Overall students gets lots of chances for placement but face only problem that they attend process in Ranchi Jharkhand.

There is lots of technical cultural and management festivals organized in this college whole year like fresher parties, cultural programs held annually. College Cricket and other sports team go to Ranchi for competition held every year between branches of BIT Ranchi. For cultural activities this college send their team every year to main branch for entertainment. I participated almost every technical, cultural programs and sometimes I represented my college in main branch Ranchi.

Scholarship is not provided by this college but students can get scholarship by the government as per their criteria. My friends every get scholarship of 40000 from UP government. I got only one time 50000 rs from gov. 90% student from SC ST and OBC category get guaranteed scholarship as my knowledge.

Campus of this college is not like Top colleges of India but Somewhat is good according to me. Gender ratio in this college boy:girl is 7: 3. Every year fresher's parties celebrates in this college in which every student parties. and some cultural events make the environment happy. Politics is not happen in this college and this college among top 10 in Allahabad. Students are generally friendly in nature and some have came with their vision to get from this college. Overall this is good campus for above stated courses.

Seniors in this college is very helpful in nature. Every junior students interact the senior with greeting everyday. Some senior help their junior in their problems like study, college work etc. My senior Durgesh Sir help me in this college very much during first year in BCA in 2007 when there is presence of sine ragging in college. But not ragging diminished from this college. I personally as senior help some students.
