Remarks

College is outside of the city but they have charged bus fee in course fee because they provide bus facilities to take students from city and college canteen have a low item to eating.. college has faculties low in some engineering branches like civil engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am a student in this college and I am a civil engineer. I have passed out my engineering in 2018. Today I have worked in various civil engineering companies and gained experience to do work in various companies.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Placement Experience

In this college students' placement are done after the seventh semester very companies have come to college and selected students by test and interviews. 1lakhs is the minimum package and 2 lakhs maximum packages in college at fresher level.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not taken any scholarships because I belong to the general category but other categories have scholarships like Obc, St, Sc category and also the fee is low for other categories left out of the general category.

Campus Life

This College has a self library for reading books in the syllabus. And also annually techfest is done in college and also various types of competition and programs are done in college. various sports activities are also done in college.

Hostel Facilities

This college has a self hostel for accommodation for students, and also mess facilitates provide and also students provide full security by the warden and always check boys and girls hostel every week.

SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

Placement Experience:

At the end of 2nd year, companies like goldman sachs comes to take interns. For placements students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. In recent years goldman sachs is the biggest recruiter, oracle and Deloitte have also recruited, other firms like tcs and infosys also come. Giants like Amazon and google have stopped visiting since few years. Last year highest package was 72 lpa to an ece student. Average lies around 8 lpa. In tech branch 70-80% students are placed. In lower branches 50-60% students are placed. My plan is also to get placed at a decent package after completion of course.

LIFE IN MITS-DU

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to get placed and many companies visits every year for placement and approx 60-70% students gets placement every year.As per my knowledge there is no company which has made no offer.Average package is about 6-7 lakhs per annum.My plan is to take good package from on campus placement drive.If I am unable to get this then I will try for off campus placement and I also want to do MTECH after graduating.

Placement Experience:

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

The Institute has a separate cell for training & placement that cares for the industrial exposure & placement of students.
