Till now, no bad experience have been ever felt and hope that next coming batches will also never feel so.

Entrance Preview

Distance mode and bihar college of engineering was one of the study centre for masters in computer application classes [for IGNOU].

Course Curriculum Overview

Together BCA and MCA included following, C, C++, OOPS concepts, Visual Basic Programming, PL/SQL and procedural language, RDBMS concepts, Operations Research, Accounting etc.

Internships Opportunities

Government sector institutions came like BIRSAC, Flood Department and we have been offered a money of 8000/- per month as stipend we have started our internship project for Patna Municipal Corporation in the office premises of BIRSAC. We were provided with higher version of computer workstations which were dedicated for our work only.

Placement Experience

So many companies and government sector institutions came to place us. Almost all of us were placed for good companies. Some of us placed in C-DAC institution and some of us have been selected for CRIS which is renowned indian railway - computerized system. I have been placed for WIPRO and I have been assigned QA task.

College Events

Every year we celbrated teachers day, college annual day and we have quiz every semester in he interval of 2 months each. All these were increased our knowledge in best possible way.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was very feasible because we have to make a draft in the name of IGNOU and deposit it to New Delhi. This fee was semester wise and we did not feel any difficulty.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not have such opportunity to avail any loan facility or scholarship ours was a distance education and we have been provided with the study material against of the fee deposited to IGNOU.

Campus Life

We have total of fun experience in our college campus life we have enjoyed a lot while studying at the same time we have too many quiz sessions as well as we have been asked for so many extra curricular projects to increase our knowledge.

Hostel Facilities

There were no hostel facilities in our college however many students came from outside of patna and they were suggested for good hostel as well as lodges food there was also good and of varieties.

Alumni/Alumna

Since we are for distance education and we have to attend classes 10 or 12 times a week for theory classes however, college and our senior members were too good that we have been permitted to come to our college lab for many more practical sessions.

Exam Structure

Exam in our total of 5 years of education duration, 10 times. It means exam held in each semester some of the courses were so difficult and as my personal experience is concerned. I have not passed for Operation Research as well as accounting.and I have to reappear for those 2 papers in next semester.

Faculty

Some of the faculties were too good that we have to just attend classes and we were able to sit in examination for our corresponding semester for our assignments in each of the semester, we were helped by them we also got help from our faculty members before examination to solve complex problems over the phone also.

the enviroment of the college are very different i like most
girls and boys ratio are apporox same in college

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum are advanced and updated but as it is a technical course the curriculum should be updated as per industry standards and i personally think that it's not upto real world standards. teaching methods of some teachers are fabulous.

The reality of ANC Patna

Likes

The classes are always nice , neat and clean.
Some of the faculty's are one of the best teachers of their streams.
There is library where you can sit from morning to evening.

Dislikes

Some of the teachers doesn't belong here . They are just here because of the good contacts.
Placement is the worst aspect of the college
There is no project based studying in MCA

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is also average. Its updated but in IT sector you need updation in every 4 or 5 years according to the industry needs as this is a master's course. Our professor in charge always try to update it. But in Bihar there are so many difficulties in universities to update syllabus every 5 years. It was changed once in a decade . About teaching methods, many teachers teach us accordingly to the practical approach of coding, but i think try project based studying approach can be make you a industry ready programmer.

The College is really and I would suggest that one should go for it

Likes

The college infrastructure is good it has ac installed in all the classrooms and canteen also is nice
The teachers are good and helpful they are always ready to guide us and prepare us well for our future.
It is compulsory for each and every student to be active and take part in any event being conducted

Dislikes

The classrooms are to small and congusted it turns up to be really suffocating during the summers and there exists only a single canteen with in the campus
We are not allowed to move outside the campus unless we finished all our lectures and the doesn't has any stationary of its own which makes it really annoying sometimes
The teachers keep changing every now and then and there is rarely a chance of a single course being completed by a particular teacher sometimes class keep missing because of u availablity of teachers

Placement Experience:

Students are always eligible for placements ss soon as they get placements they get noc from the college and can continue there cources and work at the same time they just need to come and give there end semester exams the highest placement in my batch was of 500000 and lowest was 250000 around 30%percent of students do get placements.My plans after completing my degree is to work .

Likes

The level of education is awesome , the teaching style of the professors is just wow.
Hostels alloted for the MCA students are good .
All the required things are available easily.

Dislikes

The campus size is small , it could be improved .
The hygiene and cleanliness near the campus is good but it could be improved.
In some departments (of old campus ) some devices might not work

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose AI due to my personal interests . The course curriculum includes several topics which are required in the modern era of tech like web3 , webDev , IOT , AI . They even teach Technical communications to teach you the communication skills in an organisation . I believe the teaching is not only on the papers but also practically whatever we learn , we learn it in labs also . We have projects , presentation , test which helps us to understand and apply the skills that we learn during the course .

I choose an NIT patna Mainly because of its nit tag Decent placement record and affordability compared to private college. I had Also applied To a few other IIT Triple I I bought options in lower branch it is slightly Better late and similar budget in new nit. IT do not get to an empty slide 3G Surat Karan Warangal due to my jee main rank. So I choose the best available options based on my rank. The admission process is through Gmail followed by Joseph Counselling to be eligible student must have completed 12th with physics chemistry and mathematics most students prefer J Men as a primary exam for nits cut offs very Every year. good Internship support with learning exposure

I applied to the national institute of technology jamshedpur, nit durgapur, nit silchar, nit patna and kept the college nit patna over all the colleges, so due to this, i did not get any type of rejection and got confirmed the admissions from all the colleges and i chose nit patna for its strategic locaiion , better connecttivity , avtive student community and the growing placement stats. Reality of the intership

I took this college because it is near 150 km of my home town, which was one of the most reason along with cse branch I get here. I prefer branch over college as seniors suggest ed me. I think some of the things which is going wrong like they shifted to new campus which is under construction and we are living in dustfull campus and noise from that, in exam time their work in my hostel as felt like some is belling in my head overall frustration.
