I gave SRMJEE phase and got 6400 ranks. I was able to get CSE core in the second round of counseling, which closes at around 9000. The application form is available at the official site along with all necessary information. The exam is held in 3 phases but most students are allotted seats in the first phase itself. The cutoff for CSE in later phases is around 1 to 2k rank. Once you get allotted your desired program you have to pay around 10k to book the slot for yourself. The first 500 ranks get 100% scholarship on tuition fee.

I chose this course because I have great interest in computers for a long time. There is a 1:60 faculty-student ratio. The faculty are qualified in the subjects and most of them teach with dedication. We have a lot of exams here, which consists of 3 class tests, model practical exams, and final theory and practical exams. Since the first year is completely online we gave exams through google classroom and used virtual lab software.

We get a lot of paid and unpaid internship opportunities provided to us by the college from time to time by clubs and corporate giants like Amazon, hp, dell, etc. People who successfully complete technical workshops are provided a chance to interview for internships at major companies by our technical clubs. selection process is usually a screening test followed by interviews.

Final-year students are eligible for placements. We get a lot of dream and super dream companies for CSE offering double-digit packages. Around 40 companies visited the campus last year. For this case, the highest package is around 45LPA and the average package offered by mass recruiters is around 6 to 7 LPA. We have an almost 100% placement record.

The fee is somewhat high but at par with another tier 2 private colleges. Plenty of scholarships are offered for defense personnel etc. Every year scholarships are given to top performers on a merit basis. You need to maintain your performance over the next semester to continue this scholarship. We haven't had any charges except the fees already paid apart from around 3k examination fees for end semester exams. Cost for education material is negligible since we are provided with enough material in soft copy by the college like ppts, books, notes, etc which are sufficient for exams.

I haven't had the opportunity to experience campus life yet because of the covid 19 pandemic. We have annual fests called Arush where celebrities are invited for performing. We also have a technical fest called milaan. Both this fest take place alternatively each semester. The library and the official campus library are really good as I've heard from the seniors. We also have a diverse sports culture here and a real lot of technical, cultural clubs which allow us to dive deep into other talents except academics.
