Remarks

For admission, the first thing applicants had to clear was the SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test) for which the cutoff in my year was 85/110. After that, we had to travel to campus to take part in a Written Aptitude Test and a Personal Interview. The eligibility criteria included students graduating from any stream of any board with a minimum of 60% grade. The admission process was very smooth overall, and no changes as such could improve it from this end.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I am specializing in Marketing. I want to pursue Sports Management, in particular, the marketing field in the future and the college provides us with a huge platform to learn about the same. Exams were tricky but mainly included whatever was taught in class by the faculty. For marketing at least, there were plenty of teachers who were always present to solve any doubts students had.

Internships Opportunities

4

Some internships have a stipend, some don't. The internship Cell of our college provides us with regular internship opportunities in various places with both in-office and remote work. The internships done are mainly around whatever specialization the student has taken in college.

Placement Experience

4

Students are eligible for placements from their fifth semester onwards. Big companies like Deloitte, PWC, ICICI bank, KPMG etc come to our college every year and select a large number of students to work for them.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is an annual icrease in fees, for the entire three-year tuition fee structure. In terms of job placement, plenty of well-established and famous companies offer placements on campus to students. I got placed at Spolto, a digital marketing company in Sports, with a CTC of 4.5 lpa.

Campus Life

3.5

The annual fest held in our college is Sympulse which is normally held in the month of January. It includes events and programs from various fields. Books and journals of all subjects taught in the institute are available in the college library. All classrooms are equipped with a smartboard that enables teachers to teach us in an innovative way. In terms of sports facilities, our campus does not have much but students are free to use other campuses' sporting facilities with prior permission.

Interview Experience

4.5

There wasn't any group discussion for admission. Instead, we had to give an entrance test which had questions from Maths, English, GK, and logical reasoning. In a personal interview, the panel mainly asked me about why I wanted to be a part of the Symbiosis family and what I could do for the college in return. There was no particular method in which I prepared for these rounds, I just used my own knowledge and confidence I gained over the years to make sure I got through the process smoothly.

Symbiosis is a much better option in terms of future opportunities

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are okay and mid. Don't expect higher packages like over 7 LPA; the highest was, I think, 6 LPA. Most are campus placements, and the companies coming in are mid-tier too. Not expecting much from here, though.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

I am interested in the banking and finance since 11th because of my good accounts in this college I am able to learn the different aspects of banking and finance the college also held some mentoring about the course and career guidance. One thing I don't like is the test they took every time when one lesson got finish they took the test and us that any of the test will consider as internal and just before the exam they give so many projects and assignments and also tell us to complete the book then only they will give the internal marks and allow to write the external

Campus placements are done after the completion of the third year. Many companies come to the campus for the placement procedure. 85% of students get placed, and the remaining will always get placed out of the campus because a degree from NMIMS has a very huge value out in India.
