Remarks
I got admission through a competitive exam called ECET. The admission process was quite easy. There was no pressure of submitting all the documents. They said we can submit it before the given date or anytime according to our convenience. On the day of submission of documents, I paid the library and lab fees on the spot. The academic fee was already paid officially on the website to reserve the seat. The 1st year academic fees should be paid.
Course Curriculum Overview
The teaching process of all the faculty is quite good. All are qualified enough to teach in our college. They guide us. Now in the second year, we are provided with a mentor for each batch of a class. The mentors are quite good and they talk politely. Also, they listen to our problems and try to solve them or suggest to us to do anything regarding it. The exams are conducted on time. It's not too difficult to pass the exams. But it is always difficult to score well.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are provided in our college but I think that those companies are fake but I am not sure about it. The companies ask for fees for the internship. And the face is not affordable for many students. So, we do not use to go for the internship. Mini projects are assigned in our second year, micro-projects are assigned in the third year and major projects are assigned in 4th year.
Placement Experience
Placements are quite good in our college. The average package is about 3.5 lacs. The highest package is approximately 11- 14 lacs. Companies like Mahindra, TCS, Accenture do visit our college for campus placement. I am not aware of several offers made. Percentage of students getting placed around 95%. And the remaining students choose to go for higher studies. My plan after getting a degree is to work in a tech company and improve my skills and live my life happily.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for my course is 75000 per year. And as I am staying in a hostel. My hostel fee is 70000 per year. I am getting a scholarship of amount 35000 per year from the Telangana government. Also, I got reimbursement because I took the admission through a competitive exam, not by management. There is also other stuff where the money is going to be spent. Like the college provides books published by its professors.
Campus Life
There is a club called club 64 in our college and it is responsible for the conducting of the events and cultural or noncultural fests. Due to pandemics, the cultural or annual tech fest was not conducted regularly on time. In the first year, we got the book on time which means before the start of the academic syllabus. But in the second year, they are providing the books at the end of the semester. Also, they are saying that it is compulsory to take the books for every student and they have to pay the book fees. I think this is not fair and the faculty should think about this problem. Sports or extracurricular activities are not supported much.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is quite good. The lunch, breakfast, and dinner were provided on time. The food quality is also good but sometimes it may be not that good. They also provide eggs at night. The menu of the fourth changes every day. There was no registration process for the hostel after of submission of the documents. Rooms were allotted to us.
Interview Experience
No. There was no group discussion, interview, or written tests during the admission process. I just submitted the documents. Because I got the seat through competitive exam. We just had a look at the campus. The HOD explained to us about the college rules and achievements.
